Page 5, 6 Panels- Al-Matah Street, Basthtil District, 1985 Cairo Egypt Panel 1: Cut to a shot from the sky in early morning looking down on one of the sections of town that was hit in the blast, Bashtir. You can see a black mark near the center-left section of the panel view where the bomb hit. There's a string of ambulances coming up from the south amidst the usual traffic of the morning in that part of the city. CAPTION: Bashtir, Morning After the Blast AMANDA [Cont., Off-Panel]: They'll be absolutely fine! Panel 2: We close-in on street level on the bombed out part of Bashtir. A two-story clothing store with blown out windows on each floor and a steadily growing fire that threatens the integrity of the entire building. The smoke emanating from the handful of windows that were broken seeps outside, masking the name of the store written in Egyptian Arabic. You can hear in the right part of the second story the sound of screaming from within. Panel 3: Cut to an interior shot of the building's first floor a second later. It's here that we see Mona on the ground, starting to come to after being driven to the side of a wall as a result of the explosion. The sight of smoke drifts above her in the ceiling, along with the sound of crackling and breaking emanating from above which represents the weakening of the second floor. Panel 4-6: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. In Panel 4, we see Mona start to wake up a few moments after what we saw of her in the previous panel. It's just in time to see a chunk of the same floor break apart and tumble downward, which she ducks expertly in Panel 5. And in Panel 6, after executing a barrel roll that transitions from Panel 5 to 6, Mona hops back to her feet. MONA [translated from Egyptian Arabic; Panel 4]: Shit!... Page 6, 7 Panels- Clothing Store, Bashtil District, 1985 Cairo Egypt Panel 1-3: A three-part set of panels centered around the same setting and layout that we saw in the last panel of the previous page. Mona looks around from left to right and back left by Panel 3 for someone as she walks down the store's hallway. The smoke gathering in size above her along with the first image in the upper right hand corner of the panel view (in Panel 1) of a fire in the upper floor. At this point though, she hasn't quite noticed the sound of screaming from the other people. MONA [translated from Egyptian Arabic; Panel 1]: Beka... MONA [Cont., Panel 2]: Beka! MONA [sighs, with a pondering look on her face; Panel 3]: I was just talking to her a minute ago. No way she could... Panel 4: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. Her train of thought is soon interrupted by the sound of an ambulance coming to the building as well as the sound of fire trucks. Each of them blending together to make one basic sound. Mona's body immediately tenses up upon hearing the sound. MONA [reaching for the handle to her sword]: That...is my cue to exit! Panel 5-7: Action shot of Mona who is seen, minutes after the action of the previous page, has unsheathed her energy sword and started to run toward a set of metal doors off in the distance. She ducks past different falling chunks of floor and balls of fire as they drop from the second floor toward the ground (9 shadows of her running in total, 3 per panel). There's a sign in the distance that has Egyptian Arabic script on top, with an English translation on the bottom. Though it's hard to determine what it is precisely. MONA [Cont.; Panel 5]: Last thing I need is to give the Eyes of Mubarrak any ideas that their little experiment... MONA [Cont.; Panel 6]: ...actually got someone in Free Tahrir... MONA [Cont.; Panel 7]: Especially those creeps in the Watchtower!
