Ghede: Guerrier Extraordinaire #4: Pages 19-20

Page 19, 6 Panels- Avain's Dhom Panel 1-3: A three-part set of panels that are all centered around action shots of Ghede tangling against the Ebbos. In Panel 1, the Guerrier uses her Molltach Minaj (the blade of which as morphed itself toward something akin to a hard metal Singapore cane) to sweep away a contingent of a half-dozen of the creatures to the river. In Panel 2, a few seconds later, she levels a side-kick to a slightly larger Ebbo just before it can come over the railing. And in Panel 3, just after this action, we see a pair of Ebbos leaping over and slashing her in the shoulders. GHEDE: ARGHH! Panel 4: A moment that has passed since the action from the previous panel, we see Ghede reaching behind her to try to grab one of the Ebbos by the neck that inflicted the damage seen. The second one is hurled off by the action of the now steadily angered Haitian guerrier. GHEDE [translated from French; to the Ebbo, pulling it toward her face]: Come on, you little pissant... Panel 5-6: Same setting/layout as the previous panel in Panel 5. A few moments have passed by and we finally see our titular heroine grab the Ebbo by its neck just as it's about to unload with another slashing action toward Ghede's neck. In Panel 6, with the creature in front of her, she starts to address it properly. Unbeknownst to her, there is a contingent of Ebbos charging forward toward her. GHEDE [Cont., Panel 5]: Gotcha! Now... GHEDE [Panel 6, curious]: To see if these little ones can float! Page 20, 6 Panels- Avain's Dhom Panel 1-2: Just as the Voodoo specter is set to carve into the squirming creature, you can see a growing mass of more Ebbos coming in from the background to save their compatriot. There's also a silver aura that comes faintly into view at this point. Suddenly, in Panel 2, there is a loud "BANG!" emanating from outside the ship, which shakes everyone already onboard and sends Ghede forward a couple of feet toward the unseen metal railing, dropping the Ebbo she had captured in the process. Panel 3: We move a few moments later to the railing that our titular heroine was sent into. She looks up to see a bright silver glow that hits her face as she comes back to her feet. A sly grin comes over Ghede's face at this moment. GHEDE [translated from French]: Nicely done, Avi... Panel 4: Action shot of the Haitian guerrier a moment later. Back up on her feet, she charges forward at a row of eight Ebbos who charge, in attack mode, back at her. Her blade is raised up above her shoulder. The tip of it changing toward a more shovel-like shape. GHEDE [to the Ebbos, but also secretly Kagu-Tsuchi; translated from Japanese]: Now, just in case you happen to be tuned-in to these creepy little things, Kagu... Panel 5: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. As the rampaging Ebbos come ever close to our heroine, you can see her swoop her Minaj down toward ground level in order to scoop them up by the feet. GHEDE [Cont.]: I do hope you're sinking your teeth into some good broiled mochi because what's going down now? Panel 6: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A few moments later, we see our heroine's impressive, shapeshifting sword placed underneath the creatures' collective tiny legs. You can see Ghede's biceps grow impressively to the size of a bodybuilder's as this goes on. GHEDE [Cont.]: That'll be your FATE
