The Boo-Ya! #1: Pages 19-20
Page 19, 7 Panels- The Boo-Ya! Command Center/Hills north of Moltrasio Panel 1: Same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page. We see Nessa turn her attention back totally to steering the ship. The danger of which is visible, as was the case at the end of the previous page, through the ship's main screen as the cityscape comes into clearer view. NESSA [Cont.]: Not this quinla, you flarking prozxylis... Panel 2: Cut to a front shot of the Killean pilot a split second later. She grabs the steering column with both hands and pulls it up as hard as she could in order to avoid the oncoming danger. Beads of sweat can be seen going down her face with her biceps fully flexed to coincide with the action. You can see bits and pieces of the greater Command Center in the margins of the background as this goes on. NESSA [strained and determined]: Not THIS! Panel 3-7: A five-part set of panels that are centered around a variety of action shots of the Boo-Ya! as it weaves and dodges past different parts of the hillside closing in on Moltrasio. In Panel 3, we see it pull skyward just before crashing into a bed and breakfast called Rifugio Bugone. In Panel 4, a minute later, we see the Boo-Ya! struggle to gain any type of altitude as it enters Monte di Lenno. In Panel 5, it seems as if it's about to make an upward trajectory moving past the Vista Per il Bisbino. In Panel 6 though, just as things start to look okay once more with the fire contained, it makes a sudden left turn toward downtown Moltrasio comes into view. Which becomes ever more apparent when minutes later, in Panel 7, as it crashes into the Chiesa di St. Agata. CAPALDI [in a speech bubble over top of the ship; Panel 7]: We have arrived- Moltrasio, Italy..Ehh-arth. NESSA [another bubble to the left of Capaldi, to Staehlia; Panel 7]: I thought you said our contact was based in France. STAEHLIA [another bubble to the right of Capaldi, to Nessa; Panel 7]: I said it was in the general vicinity of France, which is technically the truth since they both exist on the same continent. NESSA [Panel 7, Bubble 2]: Ughh...groovy! Page 20, 6 Panels- The Boo-Ya! Command Center Panel 1: Cut back to an interior shot of the Command Center just a few beats later. It is considerably smashed and disheveled as a result of the crash with parts of the roof having broken off and smashed into different parts of the console. The Madam is seen in the center of the shot, pushing herself off the ground with a degree of soreness. Her chair is still standing in the background behind her, albeit only because of the solid bolting underneath it. In the background, to the left of the panel view, you can see Staehlia on the floor in a similar fashion to her captain, though with a little trickle of light blue blood trickling from her forehead. CAPALDI [Cont., from the ceiling intercom]: There has been damaged to roughly 66% of the ship. Automatic ship Regen has been activated. THE MADAM [groans, with an acknowledging nod to the ship's AI; to Capaldi]: Thanks, Capaldi...how long will the Regen take? CAPALDI [Bubble 2]: Twenty-four Earth hours. THE MADAM [Bubble 2]: Enough time to get paid and get our party on! Panel 2: Slight close-up on our Andalean captain a few beats later. Her attention shifts over to her pilot as she starts to slowly rise back to her feet. You can see her coat has been disheveled along with the rest of her clothing as a result of the crash. There's also the development of a good sized welt on the Madam's forehead that is visible as she speaks. THE MADAM [Cont., to Nessa]: Ness, you see where in this Moltrasio place we crashed into? NESSA [Off-Panel, to the Madam]: Nada, cap'n... Panel 3-4: Cut to Nessa as she presses herself up off of the front of the steering console, which has been smashed up badly as a result of the crash. The main screen has also been smashed up, showing a crack in the top left corner that was caused by a piece of metal that broke off from the roof. In Panel 4, we see turn her attention over to the off-panel Staehlia to address her. NESSA [Cont., Panel 3]: The main screen went curlybflat a split second before crashing. It looked pretty though, from what little I saw. NESSA [to Staehlia, with a tinge of concern; Panel 4]: You okay up there, Stahl? Panel 5: We move to Staehlia in the same area of the Command Center that we briefly saw her in in the beginning of the page. She gives a slight flicker of a smile to her friend at the driver's seat, using the front of the railing to her broken station as a crutch as she speaks. The blood that was partially visible going down her forehead at the same moment. STAEHLIA [nodding, to Nessa]: Yes I am, Nessa. Sore in the lower half of my body, with a fairly large cranial ache. Not enough to distract from our main goal of trading our stolen jewels for ducats... Panel 6: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. The train of thought to the young Titanian is suddenly halted by the sound of blaring horns that shake in from outside. She grits her teeth and shows a considerable amount of pain thanks to the sound of horns, letting out a pained yell. Her hand though is still gripped to the side of the broken communication station, tightening slightly as a result of the mystery sound.
