Ghede: Guerrier Extraordinaire #4: Pages 23-24

Page 23, 4 Panels- Avain's Dhom Panel 1: Another epic action shot that takes up a decent amount of the left side of the page. It shows the Haitian guerrier breaking out of the Rugby scrum that had all but incapacitated her during the last three panels of the previous page. You can see the many dozens of Ebbos flying in every direction with Ghede at the center of the shot in proud, strong magnificence with her Molltach in hand. GHEDE [translated from Haitian Creole, yelling at the top of her lungs]: GREMLINS!! Panel 2-3: Cut to an action shot a split second later. We follow the creatures as they fly over the railing of the Dhom and overtop of the bright silver armor and energy forcefield that has surrounded the outside of the ship. In Panel 3, the action is all but mimicked, albeit in a different part of the Dhom. Each of them yelling out in terror as a result of everything. Panel 4: Back to Ghede as the last of the meddlesome creatures (at least she believes it was the last) are jettisoned off of the ship. She looks around the area in search of any more foreign attackers set to charge in. An heroic air can be seen around her through the course of this panel. GHEDE [grinning, looking up at the sky]: That all you got, "Water God?" Shit, I've seen scarier stuff during Charon's 'rage benders!' Page 24, 6 Panels- Avain's Dhom/Engine Room Panel 1: Same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page. In the background from what we saw earlier, there is an explosion and a rumbling emanating from the bowels of the Dhom. Ghede looks down and to the right with curious eyebrow raised, trying to figure out the source of the sound. The rest of her body turning in the same direction. Panel 2: Cut to a shot from the Haitian guerrier's back, looking over at a section of the ship just in front of the main complex. A hole has formed in an area of the Dhom near the railing. The rear of one of the surviving Ebbos who caused it can be seen burrowing inside. GHEDE [translated from Haitian Creole, annoyed]: Oh for fuck's sake... Panel 3: Back to a proper shot of the top half of our heroine's body a split second later. Her gaze is focused squarely on the lone remaining creature that has remained onboard. The look of annoyance now seen firmly on her face as the sound of gnawing wood and rumbling continues in the background. GHEDE [Cont., to the Ebbo]: Take a hint! Panel 4-5: A two-part set of panels that are centered once more around our titular heroine, albeit in a wider lense to show the rest of her body. In Panel 4, she begins to phase through the wooden floor, along with her Molltach Minaj, into the inner machinations of the Dhom itself. In Panel 5, her body is more than halfway through. Her face still displaying the same level of annoyance as Panel 3 or Panel 4, mixed with a degree of "gotta get shit done." Panel 6: Action shot of her continuing to phase through the wooden floor back into the bottom depths of the Dhom, through the nooks and crannies in the direction of the engine. You can see Ghede's silver eyes peering intently, trying to find the meddlesome little creature trying to inflict damage upon the ship. GHEDE [to herself]: Come on...C'mon...
