The Boo-Ya! #2: Pages 9-10
Page 9, 5 Panels- Hallway, the Boo-Ya! Panel 1-3: Same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page, which is also indicative through the other two panels. In Panel 1, we see Staehlia still quickly typing on the off-panel touchscreen and trying to find a way through the firewall. In Panel 2, her confidence steadily increases as she comes up with a path to success. Which she finds, a minute later, by the time we reach Panel 3. There's also a ding and the slight tint of a greenish glow emanating from the screen. STAEHLIA [Cont., Panel 1]: Though much like any other computer and its security protection, there is always a weakness to be found. STAEHLIA [Panel 2]: You just gotta... SOUND EFFECT [Off-Panel, Panel 3]: DING! STAEHLIA [Cont., pleased grin; Panel 3]: find it! Panel 4-5: Same setting as the previous panel, taking place a second after the young Titanian's breakthrough. The layout widens slightly and moves to the side. She looks up to the ceiling in the direction of Capaldi in order to utter the next part of the plan to the A.I. Her fingers typing in the last command for the energy burst as she speaks. Her body still deep in the business at hand, not taking any time to relish the victory. In Panel 5, seconds later, we hear a big boom emanating from the area just above the touchscreen to the Pleasuroom. STAEHLIA [to Capaldi, Panel 4]: I have found a way around the firewall, Capaldi. Are you ready on your end? CAPALDI [from the speakers, to Staehlia; Panel 4]: As much as one can be when faced with a plan that has a 30.7% chance of success. STAEHLIA [chuckling; Panel 4, Bubble 2]: Those are actually solid odds for this ship. Now, the burst of energy should be coming your way right...about... STAEHLIA [Cont., Panel 5]: NOW! Page 10, 6 Panels- Hallway, The Boo-Ya! Panel 1: We move to a few moments later in the same part of the ship, focused on the wall just above the Pleasuroom's entrance console. You can see a surge of energy emanating from the area and traveling up toward the ceiling of the hallway. Near the bottom of the panel view, just below the ball of energy, you can also see the top half of the touchscreen console as it flashes a "WARNING, POWER SURGE" alert. CAPALDI [from the speakers]: I've got a lock on the energy ball, Stahl...starting to steer now. Panel 2-5: A four-part set of panels that are all focused on the same ball of energy as it reaches the ceiling (Panel 2) and makes its way steadily toward where the Hopper is located. The setting below the ceiling changes slightly with each panel along the way. You can hear the somewhat loud footsteps off-panel below emanating from the young Titanian's footsteps, along with the back of her head and body, as she follows the path to a curve in the hallway by the time we reach Panel 5. CAPALDI [Cont., grimacing; Panel 2]: Gugghh...godsBETT'N, this is a pain! STAEHLIA [Off-Panel, to Capaldi; Panel 3]: You are doing fine, Capaldi. Just...keep it in one piece. CAPALDI [to Staehlia, Panel 3]: Thanks, Stahl. But...I'm plenty aware...of that fact... ahlready! CAPALDI [Cont.; Panel 3, Bubble 2]: Shyight, it's slipping...the integrity of the ball's slipping! STAEHLIA [to Capaldi, Panel 4]: The Hopper's just along this turn. Can you hold it till then? CAPALDI [to Staehlia, Panel 4]: I believe so...Though it'll be a...TIGHT enterprise. CAPALDI [Cont.; Panel 4, Bubble 2]: Just a little...bit... CAPALDI [Cont., Panel 5]: More.... Panel 6: Cut to an action shot a couple of seconds later of Staehlia arriving in the entrance to the Hopper. Its black, hard metal doors opening from right to left as she bursts inside. From inside the doorway, you can see a little burst of light inside the room which showcases for a fraction of a second the technological layout within. CAPALDI [relieved]: GOT IT! STAEHLIA [glancing up toward Capaldi]: Many thanks, Capaldi...
