Page 11, 5 Panels- Avain's Dhom

Panel 1-2: A two-part set of panels that are centered around Avain looking down in the same position that he was at the end of the last page. In Panel 1, we see him, with the sky above in the background, seemingly ready to utter something. But in Panel 2, he closes his mouth and lets the statement lie flat.

Panel 3: Same setting as the previous panel. The layout is slightly different, widening out to take in more of the Dhom's railing located a distance away in the background. You can also see more of the forested area near the shore as he speaks.

AVAIN [translated from French, yelling out to Ghede with hand shaped over his mouth like a cone]: While you're down there, Ghed--could you snag the Tridentis? It should be behind the console fully charged up.

Panel 4: Cut back to the opening to the hole in the ship. The good captain's feet only partly visible in the lower corner of the panel view. You can also hear the sound of clanking and moving emanating from within the hole as Ghede's speaking.

GHEDE [translated from French, to Avain]: In due time. Until then, buddy, I recommend holding on to something very, very tightly.

Panel 5: Back to Avain a split second later. The layout now widened to take in most of the rest of his body. There is a look of dread, though not entirely of great surprise. It almost looks like, from his body language, that something like this is a semi daily occurrence in their previous adventures.

AVAIN [sighs, hand drifting back down to his side]: You mind keeping it under 100 this--

Page 12, 4 Panels- Avain's Dhom

Panels 1-4: A four-part set of panels centered around the front of the Dhom. Each panel represents a section of the area as well as the forested area in the top half of the panel's view moving speedily by. You can also see Avain's tumbling body moving along the floor within each of the four panels, ending with him in Panel 4 crashing into the metal railing.
