Page 13, 4 Panels- Avain's Dhom

Panel 1-3: A three-part set of panels, which move from right to left in the page view, centered around a single bit of action. That of Avain clawing his way back up from the front railing to the steering wheel. The ship continues to move quickly on the river, along with the forested background. You can see the struggle and fight in his face with each image of his face in each panel.

AVAIN [translated from French, yelling; Panel 1]: Ghed... AVAIN [Cont., Panel 2]: GHED! AVAIN [Cont., to himself; Panel 3]: Oh, to have the ability to phase through wood right about--

Panel 4: Cut to an action shot of him a split second later. We see Avain getting flung high up off the ground. A result of the ship suddenly being grounded to a near total stop as a result of finally hitting the beach at the end of the river. You can see part of the ship moving slightly as a result of the stop.

AVAIN [Cont., yelling]: NOOWWW!

Page 14, 5 Panels- Avain's Dhom

Panel 1-4: A four-part set of panels that are centered around Avain's body rolling on the wooden floor like a ball. With each one, you can see more and more of the opened hole appearing around the left side of the panel view. Each time he lets out a pained groan and grunt as he nears the area. It culminates in Panel 4 with the good captain slowly rolling into the hole.

Panel 5: An action shot which acts as a continuation of the action we saw in Panel 4. The darkness of the inner bowels of the ship can be seen all around, save for the light coming down from above and forming the circular area which is where Avain lands with a "THUD!" There's a distant glow in the left corner of the background which forms a rectangular area which, although it's not readily evident, represents the Dhom's engine area.
