The Boo-Ya! #2: Pages 15-16

Page 15, 6 Panels- Police Station, Moltrasio Italy

Panel 1: We move to the interior of the station just as the fight near the jail cell is going on. In particularly, the small storage area where they keep evidence collected from past cases and suspects they've arrested. The point of view is such that we see a good chunk of the station where officers are seated, working on stuff and chatting with one another. As for the officer in charge of evidence storage, we see only the back of their head as they listen to music on their phone through earbud headphones.

SINGER [from the earbuds]: "I break into a lyrical freestyle Grab the mic, look into the crowd and see smiles"

Panel 2: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A few beats later, you can see the first of the officers near the upstage portion of the panel view start to react to the sound of fighting emanating from the jail area. Their hands already reaching for their firearms to join in the battle. The other officers though haven't quite noticed the situation yet.

SINGER [Cont.]: "Cause they see a woman standing up on her own two Sloppy slouching is something I won't do"

Panel 3-5: A three-part set of panels centered around the same setting and layout that we saw in the previous two panels. In Panel 3, more officers near the middle of the panel view can be seen rising from their desks and moving toward the fight. As they join up with the others in Panel 4, you can see the remaining Moltrasio police officers rising from their feet as the fight becomes increasingly louder. The door is also shaking violently at this point, rising in intensity by Panel 5. Till finally...

SINGER [Cont., Panel 3]: "Some think that we can't flow (can't flow) Stereotypes, they got to go (got to go)" SINGER [Cont., Panel 4]: "I'm a mess around and flip the scene into reverse" SINGER [Cont., Panel 5]: "(With what?) With a little touch of "Ladies First"

Panel 6: A second after the action hinted on in Panel 5, we see the door suddenly shoot forth like a cannon from its hinges. The outline of the darkened doorway seen only briefly to the left of the shattered piece of wood, along with a leg and what appears to be the bottom of a hard-soled boot. You can also see the shadow of the body it belongs to, which is huge and hulking in stature, though hard to determine at the moment who they are exactly.

SOUND EFFECT: FWABOOOMM!!

Panel 1-2: Cut to a shot of the officer in charge of the evidence storage area, whose face we see for the first time. A young-ish looking man with a five o'clock shadow of a beard, dressed in the standard uniform of the department. He reaches up with both hands to take off his earbuds, trying to decipher what the noise was about. His eyes growing wide in Panel 2 upon discovering who is coming toward him.

SINGER [through the left earbud; Panel 1]: "Who said the ladies couldn't make it, you must be blind If you don't believe, well here, listen to this rhyme" SINGER [Cont., trailing off; Panel 2]: "Ladies first, there's no time to rehearse I'm divine and my mind expands throughout the universe..." THE MADAM [Off-Panel, to the Officer; Panel 2]: Yo, tiny human minion!

Panel 3: We move to a shot from the officer's perspective of the Madam standing in front him. Nessa and Staehlia flanking the two of them on both sides. She places her muscular forearm down on the countertop in front of her and leans forward toward the human in a highly coercive manner.

THE MADAM [Cont.]: I'm the Madam, and these are mi chiclas, Nessa and Staehlia. You've got our stuff back there and we--

Panel 4: Cut to a shot of the officer's face as the captain of the Boo-Ya! continues on with her explanation. He's visibly confused by what he's hearing from the women in front of him, and a bit terrified by the Madam's hulking appearance. The background behind him a mix of gray and black from the shadows and outlines cast by the various bits of evidence in place at that time.

THE MADAM [Cont., Off-Panel in the native Killeman tongue; as listened to by the police officer]: Crenlohk d'torre slum vinae...

Panel 5-6: Back to the same setting and layout that we saw in the previous panel, just as the Madam finishes her statement. In the next panel, a couple of beats later, she looks over to her left at Staehlia a little clarification on what happened. Between the two panels, you can see her forehand lifting up off the wood countertop. Her hand placed palm down by the time we reach Panel 6.

THE MADAM [Cont., casual; Panel 5]: I'd rather not blam in there and take it ourselves. But if needs be...we're more than willing to... THE MADAM [to Staehlia, Panel 6]: What the hells, Stahl? I thought you designed the Petyr to adapt to the language of any native planet's population. STAEHLIA [to the Madam, her focus split between the captain and the officer; Panel 6]: It does. It should be able to determine between Eeyarth's different dialects. My best summation is that the human's earbuds are distorting the relays somewhat so that he hears at this moment only your natural Killeman tongue. THE MADAM [Panel 6, Bubble 2]: Bett'n...alright, chuck diplomacy then.

Panel 7: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. She turns her attention over to Nessa on her right. All set to give her pilot and number 2 the command to charge in. Unbeknownst to her though, we see Nessa well ahead of her captain with her left fist already raised and formed into a ball. A wide smile on her face as she puffs her chest, flexing her bicep in preparation to brawl.

THE MADAM [to Nessa]: You're up, home chicla! NESSA [with some giddy bloodlust]: Oh...yeah!
