Ghede: Guerrier Extraordinaire #5: Pages 21-22

Page 21, 4 Panels- Distant Hilly area of the In-Between Panel 1: We cut suddenly to a set of hills a half-dozen miles away from the Dhom and our two heroes. It's right around the same time period as Page 19, and everything is peaceful right down to the calm sway of the trees and the crystal blue sky above them. Panel 2-4: A three-part set of panels set in the same setting and with roughly the same layout as the previous panel. With each preceding panel, we see the laser blast that came from Avain's Tridentis as it slices through the trees like butter, leaving flaming entrails in their wake. In Panel 4 finally, we see a close-up of one of the hills as the light yellow golden laser crashes into the side of the hill with a hideous explosion. Page 22, 6 Panels- Distant Hilly area of the In-Between/Forested area to the South Panel 1-3: We keep at the same setting and layout that we left the last page in. The only difference is that there is a fairly sizable hole on the side of the hill. A result of the powerful blast that had shook it to the core. You can see in Panel 1 the last pile of rocks tumbling down out of panel view on to the ground. In Panel 2, a few moments later, there is the sound of buzzing hidden from deep within the confines of the cave. It's a buzzing that continues to grow in volume and intensity as we move to Panel 3 till finally-- Panel 4: Cut to a frontal shot of the cave a couple of seconds later to find a massive swarm of hornets as they come out in one steady stream. They are huge in size and physique, closer in size to terriers than their normal bug-sized compatriots that you would find on Earth. You can see each bug armed with a fairly large stinger on each of their rear areas. Panel 5: We move to a shot from the hilled area looking out as the swarm of giant hornets fully emerge from the cave. A stream moving out in the direction of the mountain located around the far right area of the panel view. The stream on the top of the panel view is very similar in its layout and design to the Nile river. Panel 6: Cut to ground level in the same forested area of the I-B that we left Ghede in back in Page 20. A handful of minutes have passed. We see the titular heroine with Minaj unfurled and hovering just above her right shoulder in attack pose. Her eyes looking up and through the trees, trying to slowly make her way to the base of the mountain.
