Ghede: Guerrier Extraordinaire #6: Pages 11-12

Page 11, 5 Panels- Nebulously changing area of the In-Between Panel 1: Same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page. Though everything that we saw in the previous panel has all but been blotted out by the bright white flash from the mysterious light, leaving only a fair outline of the scenery and of Ghede turning her body to find out what the flash is. Panel 2: Close-up on the titular heroine a few beats later. She looks around the area, which has suddenly been transformed into a plain with large corn stalks that stretch out as far as the eye could see. You can see Ghede's mind already going into high gear, observing the weird change in scenery. Her sword just beginning to rise up once more above her shoulder, along with her right eyebrow. Panel 3-5: A three-part set of panels centered squarely on the good guerrier's proudly flying through the sudden patch of farmland. The blade of her Molltach Minaj slicing in each panel through each stalk of corn in front of her with furious precision and a growl that carries on to Panel 5. As this goes on, each corn stalk that is slashed by her blade starts to float above her in the background. The clouds in the sky starting to grow more gray, covering the sun above her. Page 12, 5 Panels- Nebulous area of the In-Between Panel 1: Same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page. As was the case with the action from the last page's 3 panels, we see our heroine slicing through another handful of cornstalks in front of her. The resulting plants, growing in number, continue to float in nonsynchronous orbit behind her. The gray of the clouds also increases in the sky above her. Panel 2-4: A three-part set of panels a minute later. The field, however, shows no sign of reaching the end. As for the floating corn stalks though, which have grown in number with each passing panel, they start to sync together in a position similar to a set of blades centered on our heroine. By Panel 4, Ghede starts to notice something off by the emergence of a weird buzzing in the air. Panel 5: Cut to a ground level shot, tilted slightly to the side, of the Haitian guerrier. She's stopped and takes a look at the flying food blades which hover ominously above her off-panel in the left side of the panel view. You can see Minaj gleaming off to the side, still firmly gripped in hand. She smirks slightly and lets out a quick little chuckle.
