Ghede: Guerrier Extraordinaire #6: Pages 13-14
Page 13, 4 Panels- Nebulous Plain area of the In-Between Panel 1: Cut to a rear over the shoulder shot of Ghede as she flies at super speed toward the oncharging corn stalks, who come at our heroine with equally fast speed. The gray skies above them and, around the edges of the background, the presence of more cornstalks uprooting themselves and joining the fray can be seen. Also, the buzzing that was prevalent in the last panel of the previous page is now louder. Panel 2-4: Same setting as the previous panel. The layout, however, shifts slightly toward the left a few moments afterward. We see more of the Haitian guerrier's body, and the blade raised up. In Panel 3, the layout shifts ever more to show more of her and the attacking produce. Minaj now raised over her head, and in Panel 4 (fully into a side shot) she slices firmly through a pair of the cornstalks. Page 14, 6 Panels- Nebulous Plain area of the In-Between Panel 1-2: Close-up on Ghede a few seconds later as she's set to work on another of the attacking sentient cornstalks, which she slashes effortlessly with her blade. Unbeknownst to her, we see as she slashes through another of the corn blades in Panel 2, there's what appears to be the sound of ticking in the background emanating from one of the produce weapons. Panel 3: Action shot of a large explosion and a ball of bright green light emanates from the same background area we saw in Panel 2. Ghede can only glance in the direction of the explosion as its power knocks her for a loop from her swiping attack. Panel 4: Cut to another action shot just a split second later, six feet away from the first explosion. We see the titular heroine getting hit with another two of the corn bombs on her back. The bright green explosions appearing over her shoulder, forming two circles the size of basketballs. Panel 5-6: A beat later, we see the result of the explosion from Panel 4. Ghede's black blur of a body hurling like a comet back down to the long stretch of corn stalks. There's also the remnants of the dislodged corn stalks streaming down behind her. And in Panel 6, we cut to a ground level shot from the spot where she landed. The same green flaming explosion following over top of her.
