The Boo-Ya! #4: Pages 3-4

Page 3, 5 Panels- Commander Weber's Office, Brussels Belgium Panel 1: Cut back to a shot of the Commander in a similar setting and layout to what we saw in the second to last panel of the previous page. For the first time, she looks up from her stack of documents and directly at Richard. Her level of intrigue increased over what the information may bring. You can hear the sound of footsteps off-panel from Mr. Siena coming toward her as she speaks. COMMANDER WEBER [Cont., to Richard]: Where'd you find this? Panel 2: Back to Richard a few moments later. At this point, he's now standing a couple of steps in front of his superior officer, extending the folder of papers out to her. You can see the back of the Commander in the foreground of the panel. You can also see in the distance behind the advisor's shoulder the front door to the office. RICHARD SIENA [Cont., to Commander Weber]: CCTV camera outside of a discotheque in Moltrasio called FASDM first spotted them around 1000 local time. Then, they were discovered again two hours later outside of a sushi restaurant ten blocks from the first location. COMMANDER WEBER [Off-Panel]: A sushi restaurant? Why in God's name would they go there? RICHARD SIENA [Bubble 2]: No idea, ma'am. Maybe they use the protein in the fish as a fuel source for their ship? COMMAND WEBER [Off-Panel, Bubble 2]: Plausible... Panel 3: Back to the Commander, focused more close-up on the top half of her body as she slowly goes through the documents that the Private handed her. Her gaze split between the papers and the Private, trying to piece together every detail given. The pale ivory white of the wall provides the primary frame of color in the background as she speaks. COMMANDER WEBER [curious]: How have the local authorities not caught wind of them? Panel 4: Back to Mr. Siena in a similar type of close-up on the top half of his body that we saw in the previous panel with Commander Weber. His hands formally crossed behind his back wit the rest of his body in attention. The same slightly far away layout of the rest of the office that was seen in the background of Panel 2 can be seen here as well. RICHARD SIENA: Intelligence surmises that it may be the result of a ray gun or some type of portable EMP device one of the OWIs have in their possession, masking their presence on Earth. Panel 5: We move back to a shot of Commander Weber in a similar setting and layout to what we saw in Panel 3. She raises a curious and slightly annoyed eyebrow in the direction of her underling, looking up from the stack of documents for a brief moment. At this point, Ms. Weber has reached the third page of the paper. COMMANDER WEBER: Right... Page 4, 6 Panels- Commander Weber's Office, Brussels Belgium Panel 1: Same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page. A few moments later, we see the folder that Ms. Weber had been reading from in Page 3 closed and tossed over her shoulder toward the desk. You can also see the folder that Mr. Siena had been holding near the end of the previous page being extended out toward her as she speaks. COMMANDER WEBER [Cont., grabbing the folder; to Richard]: Are the C.A.T. back on base? RICHARD SIENA [Off-Panel, to Commander Weber]: Yes, ma'am. COMMANDER WEBER [Bubble 2]: Good. I want them in the air in Moltrasio in 2 hours. Panel 2-3: A two-part set of panels centered around the same setting and layout as the previous panel. In Panel 2, we see the Commander pull the folder toward her and open it up, reading it as she further addresses her underling. The lone bit of sound that can be heard through all this is the sound of the folder from Panel 1 hitting the hardwood desktop with a hard, yet not entirely overpowering "THUD!" COMMANDER WEBER [Cont., with a little more force; Panel 2]: And tell Captain Matthews to keep it bloodless this time. I'd rather not have a repeat of the Helsinki incident. RICHARD SIENA [Off-Panel, with hesitation; Panel 2]: Yes, Commander. There is something else I feel you need to know. COMMANDER WEBER [glancing up toward the Private, Panel 3]: Yes? Panel 4: Back to Richard in a similar setting and layout to what we saw the last time he was seen in Page 3. The background behind him is also similar to what we saw then. His arms have shifted from behind his back and down to his side as he speaks. A look of steadiness, mixed with a feeling of unease on his face as to how his superior will react to the news. RICHARD SIENA [to Commander Weber]: It's not in the initial documents I gave you. But Intelligence also flagged an arrest warrant posted recently on our MIA Private Cartwright. Panel 5: We cut back to Ms. Weber in a similar setting and layout to what we saw in Panel 3. She looks up from the papers directly at her underling. A spark of intrigue momentarily coming over her face, curious as to what will come next. The folder itself is lowered down ever so slightly as she speaks, revealing a little more of her uniform in the panel view. COMMANDER WEBER [to the Private]: Where? RICHARD SIENA [Off-Panel]: A petrol station south of Moltrasio. Panel 6: Back to Mr. Siena a few moments later. The setting and layout similar to what we saw in Panel 4. His arms are back behind his back as he speaks. His unease loosening up slightly as time went on, though not enough that he achieved any semblance of total calm in the situation. His mind still cautiously anticipating the blow-up to come in his direction. RICHARD SIENA [Cont.]: An investment banker named Ricardo phoned the police from there hours after she dove out of the plane. COMMANDER WEBER [Off-Panel]: She was hitchhiking? RICHARD SIENA [Bubble 2]: I believe so, from wherever Ms. Cartwright landed that night. He was hoping to keep her stranded there till the police would come and he could get his reward. But apparently she...
