The Boo-Ya! #4: Pages 5-6
Page 5, 6 Panels- Commander Weber's Office, Brussels Belgium Panel 1: We move back to a shot of the good Commander a few long moments later. The setting and layout, as well as the background behind her, is similar to what we saw in the second-to-last panel of the previous page. She fully tilts her head up away from the documents and down to her underling. A look of slight aggravation on her face as she speaks. COMMANDER WEBER [slightly annoyed at the elongated pause]: She what? Panel 2: Back to Richard a split second after that. The setting and layout is similar to what we saw in the last panel of the previous page, as well as the background. You can see more prominently here the sense of nervousness and anxiety start to come back at that moment in time. RICHARD SIENA [to Commander Weber, gathering courage with each word]: She...mugged a cyclist and stole his motorcycle. Panel 3-5: A three-part set of panels centered back on Ms. Weber over the course of a minute. She slowly but surely forms a picture in her mind as to what it looks like in Panel 3. In Panel 4, a split second later, she smirks and lets out a brief little chuckle signifying a degree of respect given to Private Cartwright for her action. Just as quickly though, the Commander returns to the business at hand by the time we reach Panel 5. COMMANDER WEBER [to the bluetooth speaker, Panel 3]: Mute music! COMMANDER WEBER [Panel 3, Bubble 2]: Wow...well done. COMMANDER WEBER [Cont., impressed; Panel 4]: Didn't think she had that in her! COMMANDER WEBER [to Private Barnes, complimentary; Panel 5]: Good work, Richard. RICHARD SIENA [Off-Panel, Panel 5]: Thank you, ma'am. COMMANDER WEBER [Panel 5, Bubble 2]: Get back to the Command Center. Notify me the moment the C.A.T. have our OWIs in custody. Panel 6: Back to a close-up of Mr. Siena's face a moment later. The background behind him is similar to what we saw back in Panel 2. At this point, his body language has finally shifted toward one of stable relaxation. His mind now confident that the blow-up in his direction won't be felt at that moment. RICHARD SIENA [playing devil's advocate]: What if they're not successful in apprehending them? COMMANDER WEBER [Off-Panel]: Unmute... Page 6, 5 Panels- Commander Weber's Office/Plane, Brussels Belgium/Italy Panel 1: Back to a shot of the good Commander a second later. The wider setting and layout similar to what we saw at the beginning of the previous page. The music of Sam Cooke playing once more in the background as she speaks. She glances over in the direction of her underling advisor for a brief moment while still focused exclusively on the documents in hand. Her body already starting to turn back around toward her desk in order to properly examine her work in private. COMMANDER WEBER [dismissively, to Richard]: We'll deal with that possibility if or when it comes up. Though for the sake of them, and the entire planet... Panel 2: Cut to an interior shot of a plane at the same moment that the Commander and her advisor have been chatting these past few pages. It's a little smaller than the one we saw a couple of issues back, though the lighting inside is fairly similar. We see a close-up in this panel view of Captain Lauryn Matthews, fully armored and strapped into a seat onboard the mystery plane. COMMANDER WEBER [Cont., Off-Panel]: "They better be successful!" Panel 3-4: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A few minutes pass by, and the plane starts to make its descent toward the unseen tarmac. At this same moment, in Panel 3, we see the good Captain flip down a screen from the top of her helmet in preparation for what's to come. In the next panel, the layout pulls back just as she unbuckles from the straps of her seat and starts to stand up. CAPTAIN MATTHEWS [with a smirk, to the rest of the CAT; Panel 3]: Alright ladies and gent... SOUND EFFECT [from the viewscreen, Panel 3]: CLICK! CAPTION [next to Capt. Matthews, Panel 4]: Captain Lauryn Matthews [41] American, Leader, C.A.T. Skilled in Tactics, Martial Arts, gunplay and Karaoke CAPTAIN MATTHEWS [Cont., Panel 4]: We should be touching down in Milan in a matter of minutes. Panel 5: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A couple of beats afterward, the Captain is fully in a standing position, revealing the full scope of her futuristic looking armor covering her already physically fit physique. Her firearm holstered to the belt on her side as she speaks. You can see the panel start to shift downward to signify the plane going through the touchdown protocol. CAPTAIN MATTHEWS [addressing the rest of her team boastfully]: Now...who's ready to kick some purple alien ass?!
