Ghede: Guerrier Extraordinaire #7: Pages 7-8

Page 7, 5 Panels- Nebulous Dark area between realms Panel 1-3: A three-part set of panels that's centered on the three bodies that we left things off in the last panel of the previous page. With each panel, we see the layout changing from Ghede fighting back (in Panel 1) to the two attacking/slashing Trow (in Panel 2) and back as she ducks the slashing blow (in Panel 3). Panel 4: We move to a slight close-up on the Haitian guerrier a moment later. She ducks another slash from the creatures, moving her head back to the left. With as much strength as she can muster, Ghede lifts her left arm off of the floor in order to try to join the fight. A glow emanating from her hand as she moves. Panel 5: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. Three seconds after we last left things, there's a bright gray energy ball that springs from the back of her hand, sending one of the Trow flying backwards and freeing up the rest of her arm. Page 8, 6 Panels- Nebulous Dark area between realms Panel 1: Action shot following the blast of magic energy. Our titular heroine follows the action by a stretching kick to the side of the other Trow. The foot glowing with the same kind of energy and aura that we saw in the second to last panel of the previous page. As for the creature, it doesn't notice the oncoming attack until... Panel 2: Cut to a frontal shot of the second Trow a split second later. Ghede's foot making sweet contact to the creature's head with a "WHAM!" and a "BLAM!". You can see as this is all going on the fog of the other Trow lowering and solidifying into another form, though we don't see precisely what it looks like. Panel 3-5: A three-part set of panels centered around a single action. Namely, that of the Trow as it rolls over top like a barrel for a distance. Each time letting out a pained screech at the hard impact. It's not until Panel 5 where the ugly creature is stopped by an invisible wall around the upper left side of the panel view. Panel 6: Close-up on the Trow creature moments later. He pushes himself off the ground, shooting a hard glare in the direction of the Haitian guerrier. The creature lets out a frustrated growl, showing off the terrifying impressive nature of his fangs.
