Ghede: Guerrier Extraordinaire #7: Pages 15-16

Page 15, 5 Panels- Skies above Avain's Dhom Panel 1-4: A four-part set of panels. Each one centered around a set of action shots of Avain as he tries to wrestle his somewhat bulky frame against the fluctuating gravity fields back on top of the futuristic glider, yelling out in the first 2 panels the same "AHHH!" at the tail end of the last page. Some of the panels show him successful (Panels 1 and 3), while others show the good captain in a more distressful position (Panels 2 and 4). In the background with each panel, we see highlighted little sections of the slowly crumbling landscape around him- more of the trees getting uprooted from the ground (Panel 1, lower section of Panel 3), a black patch resembling a tumor on an X-Ray machine in the sky (Panel 2). The only exception is Panel 4 where we get a very brief glimpse of the mountain in the distance where Kagu-Tsuchi is holing up. AVAIN [translated from French; strained from yelling, Panel 2]: Damn, damn... AVAIN [Cont., Panel 3]: This is almost as bad as the UBBAS! AVAIN [Panel 4, hopeful sigh in early swing]: Let's see if I still remember this... Panel 5: Action shot seconds later, showing our French hero as he lets go and flings himself up into the air. His body laid out in a flat position with his hands mere millimeters off of the metallic alloy that he'd held onto before. The only words that come out Avain's mouth is a little excited "WHOOP!" Page 16, 6 Panels- Skies above Avain's Dhom Panel 1-3: A three-part set of panels showing the good captain in a beautiful set of gymanstic flips, forming a rainbow arc in the sky. There are five of them in total, two of them captured in each of the first two panels. The fifth one is solo in Panel 3, showing Avain as his body straightens out once more in preparation for landing. Panel 4-5: A tenth of a second after the action of Panel 3, we see our hero land awkwardly with a "CLANG!" at the center of the glider. His legs wobbling slightly as he tries to regain his balance post-landing in Panel 5. Also, in this panel, we see Avain turning the upper half of his body halfway and reaching for the wheel. AVAIN [translated from French, chuckling; Panel 5]: Still got it! Now to... Panel 6: Cut to a profile shot seconds after the action of the previous panel. Just as Avain is set to grab the wheel, an surprise force inadvertently pushes him directly into it. The result being that the glider starts to dip forcefully toward the ground in the beginnings of a tailspin.
