The Boo-Ya! #4: Pages 19-20
Page 19, 6 Panels- "Goldmember," Moltrasio Italy Panel 1: Cut to a shot from inside the growing hole looking out as the group start to descend the staircase that has formed over the past minute that has elapsed since the last panel of the previous page. Conneskiz and the Madam can be seen walking in front continuing the conversation from before, with Staehlia and Nessa following a few steps behind. CONNESKIZ [Cont., to the Madam]: You're not the first creature to be affected. That's the Ecclesanium I used to build the exterior of the ship. It absorbs and contains heat in its engines. It's also handy for weaponry and interstellar travel (whenever needed), but it also has highly reflective properties that comes into play whenever a beam of sun hits it. THE MADAM [to Conneskiz, confused]: That...how exactly does it keep cloaked from the humans who get hit by 'em? CONNESKIZ [Bubble 2]: That's the beauty of humanity these days... Panel 2: Cut to a side shot of the two of them a few moments later as they continue the descent down the staircase. He looks over and flashes a confident half-smile in the direction of the good captain as he speaks. In the background, you can see parts of what appears to be a bedroom as well as a few furnishings inside it, though it's not well seen at this point. CONNESKIZ [Cont., with a grin]: Rarely do they dwell on things outside of their control for that long. At least the ones that I've met. Panel 3: We move up to a shot from the rear of the grouping, showing Nessa whispering to Staehlia as their captain and the dealer continue chatting in front of them. The barrel of sushi partially seen behind her, strapped to her back. You can see up in the distance the same rectangular section of blue from outside that was visible in the top of the page as she speaks. NESSA [to Staehlia, glancing at the scenery from the side at the same moment]: Am I the only one smelling something putrid from the tiny Conn? STAEHLIA [replying to Nessa in a whisper]: You are not. I believe the Earthlings call it...coal-own. NESSA [shudders, Bubble 2]: Och, flarking nauseating! Panel 4: Cut to a close-up of Staehlia's face a second later. She looks via her periphery at the room closest to her as it starts to descend from view, synced up with the descent of the group toward the Wohl't. In the background, you can see a protective blue-white glow that has shielded most of the view of the interior of the "Goldmember" throughout the page. STAEHLIA [comforting]: No worries, my friend. As the Captain told us, we will not be in here for any more discernible time. Once we get the ched, we will all be back on the ship and off-planet faster than-- Panel 5-6: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. The Titanian is temporarily stopped in her train of thought by the vibrational ding emanating from the direction of her comm. The room that was partially seen in Panels 3 and 4 has now completely faded from view in the background, replaced by a dark interior littering with little purple and gold balls of light that can be seen in the area. In Panel 6, the view cuts to a screenshot of her comm with the words "Regen complete" over the top of the screen. Below it you can see a full logistic layout of the ship/ NESSA [Off-Panel, to Staehlia; Panel 5]: What is it, Stahl? STAEHLIA [to Nessa, Panel 5]: My comm. If I am not mistaken... STAEHLIA [Cont., Panel 6]: Yes! The Regen is complete! Page 20, 7 Panels- "Goldmember," Moltrasio Italy Panel 1-2: A two-part set of panels centered back on Nessa standing next to her friend, reaching back to take her first handful of sushi. You can see the background going through the same kind of transition into the mysterious black room with the glittering assortment of purple and gold and red orbs that litter it. In Panel 2, she reaches back and grabs a big handful of sushi from the barrel. At the same moment, her attention is pulled forward, along with her train of thought, by the sound of the two in front of her. NESSA [relieved while chewing, to Staehlia; Panel 1]: Thank the pretenious flarkin' gods! We may be able to sky off this blue ball of dirt before the sun sets. NESSA [Cont., Panel 2]: Maybe we can convince the cap'n to slide by New Orleans for a little partying before-- CONNESKIZ [Off-Panel, Panel 2]: We're here! Panel 3: Cut to a shot of Mr. Tja'Brin standing in front of our three alien heroines (whose back is visible in the shot) a couple of steps away from the staircase. The entire room becomes instantly illuminated, showing an overly luxurious interior with marble walls and a painting of himself resembling the Burt Reynolds "Playboy" shoot from the '70s. All as Frank Sinatra music plays over the speakers. CONNESKIZ [to the Madam, Staehlia and Nessa boastfully]: Welcome...to the Wohl't! Panel 4: Action shot of the group as they move to the left of the room, with the tiny Conneskiz leading. You can see the ladies of the Boo-Ya! looking over at the glittery jewels and baubles that are assembled and placed on different bookcases, taken from all over the universe. You can also see Nessa wipe her hands of fish grease on one of the display cases as they walk by. Far in the background, you can also see a couple of other waitress women in bikinis moving toward their position. CONNESKIZ [Cont.]: My little storage closet filled with the rarest and most beautiful things from hundreds of different planets. Not to mention the wealth I've accumulated through rohtlas of trade throughout the galaxy, all contained within my own pocket dimension. I have a couple of other ones spread throughout this blue orb of a planet, and another couple off-world. THE MADAM [to Conneskiz, genuinely impressed]: This is the first time since I've stepped on this yacht that I've been...impressed, Conn. Panel 5-7: A three-part set of panels taken a minute later. In Panel 5, her attention is pulled slightly to one of the bikini-clad women who offers her a drink. She takes it in Panel 6, watching as the human female walks away to tend to the other guests. A couple of seconds later, the Madam glares over in Mr. Ja'Brin's direction, gritting her teeth slightly. THE MADAM [from impressed to annoyed, Panel 6]: Annndd...there it goes! THE MADAM [Cont., to Conneskiz; Panel 7]: So--we agreed on 700,000 as the price for the jewels. CONNESKIZ [Off-Panel, to the Madam]: Correct, Madam. Eunits should be a sufficient currency, given your desire to fly off...
