The Boo-Ya! #4: Pages 21-22

Page 21, 5 Panels- Wohl't, "Goldmember," Motlrasio Italy Panel 1: Cut back to Tja'Brin walking over toward another self-portrait that's hanging on the wall in front of him. His pose resembling the one Sean Connery had in the cover art for the movie "Dr. No" with the subsequent women flanking his body, Photoshopped to appear taller than he actually is. CONNESKIZ [Cont.]: Let me get the funds and I'll let you on your way. Panel 2: Close-up on Conneskiz face a second later. He stops in front of the right edge of the painting, which is visible up-close in the background as he speaks. His head has turned aroud over his shoulder in the direction of the Madam and her crew, while his right hand swipes on the gold edge of the painting, revealing a similar console to the one on top of the yacht. CONNESKIZ [curious, to the Madam]: Before you do though, I would love to ask one thing, to settle my curiosity. Panel 3: We move back to the Madam standing a couple of feet away from the owner of the yacht. She has the glass of scotch in her right hand (barely over half-full at this point) as she speaks. In the background, you can see Staehlia and Nessa standing behind her and watching the same scene. You can even see Nessa reaching back and taking another handful of sushi from her barrel. THE MADAM [exasperated, to Conneskiz]: What? Panel 4: Back to Conneskiz in a similar setting and layout to what we saw in Panel 2. The difference between the two panels being the appearance of a holographic touch-pad console emerging from the area that we saw him swipe. His tiny fingers typing in a complex alpha-numeric code into the keypad as he speaks. CONNESKIZ: Your name, "The Madam." I don't imagine you were birthed with it. CONNESKIZ [Bubble 2]: So...where did it come from? Panel 5-6: A two-part set of panels centered back on the Madam in a similar setting and layout to the one we saw in Panel 3. In Panel 5, the Killeman lets out a frustrated sigh and chugs the rest of her scotch after the dialogue in that particular panel. In Panel 6, she proceeds to drop the glass on the floor, dusting off a section of her jacket at the same time. THE MADAM [to Conneskiz, Panel 5]: A lifetime of misery and pretentious shite from the wealthy on Andalea. The name was something that stuck with me as a youth in the brothel and I fought my world's shokras. THE MADAM [Cont., Panel 6]: Once I became of age, and noticed the rest of the galaxy had more of those flarking shokras...well, it was pretty bett'n easy what I should with the rest of my life. Page 22, 7 Panels- Wohl't, "Goldmember," Moltrasio Italy Panel 1: Close-up on Conne's face a couple of beats later, looking out in the direction of the good captain. He nods and flashes a look of great respect toward the Madam's answer and its respective sentiment. In the background, as he speaks, you can see the painting start to spring open after he's typed in the code. His hand already starting to return to his side. CONNESKIZ [respectfully]: A noble sentiment... Panel 2-4: A three-part set of panels centered on Mr. Tja'Brin a moment later. His back out to the reader at this point, looking over a massive cabinet full of all kinds of currencies from all over the galaxy stacked like bricks on their own individual shelves. In Panel 3, you can see the shelves start to move downward slightly before stopping, in the next panel, on a shelf stacked high with a burgundy colored currency representing the Eunits. CONNESKIZ [Panel 3]: So. 700,000 Eunits for the lovely Keelzahnian jewels-- THE MADAM [Off-Panel, interjecting; Panel 3]: 900,000 feels a little more appropriate to me, now that I think about it...especially given the strife we've been through and the dickish lowballing earlier? CONNESKIZ [slight groan, but not enough to outwardly display anger; Panel 3, Bubble 2]: Right...of course! CONNESKIZ [Cont., starting to collect the stacks of money; Panel 4]: You drive a considerably hard bargain, I must say. Have you considered a career in the political realm? Panel 5: Back to a shot of the Madam standing in front of them, waiting for the tiny dealer to gather their money for them. She has her usual smart ass grin over her face with her hands in the pockets of her leather coat. As this goes on, on the left of the background panel view, you can see Staehlia on her comm typing a command quickly into the unseen keypad. THE MADAM [casual chuckle, to Conneskiz]: Dealing with that many stupid people on a continuous? Not a chance! Besides, I wouldn't last a flarkin' quinla before offing one of them. Panel 6-7: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A few beats later, you can see something start to materialize from the same area that Staehlia's standing at. The outline of which shows that it's the bag where the royal jewels were held, though it's not readily visible at this point. As for the good Madam, her chuckle has settled while the bright smart-ass grin that she had in Panel 5. Then, in the next panel, we see Staehlia handing the now formed jewels to her captain as she speaks. THE MADAM [Cont., Panel 6]: Besides... THE MADAM [Panel 7]: I like to deal with my business in the shadows. Or an...absurdly golden one, in this case. CONNESKIZ [Off-Panel, Panel 7]: I wouldn't be so sure of the former, Madam...
