Page 25, 5 Panels- Mount Menaçant, In-Between Panel 1: Same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page. The groaning that the good captain moving his arms upward. His head slowly following the movement of the separate limbs. As he moves, you can see him squeezing the Trap Door slightly, initiating a shrinking process in the device. AVAIN [translated from French, groaning/in pain]: Merciful God...please tell me I'm close to the house! Panel 2-3: Cut to a shot looking down toward the bottom of the mountain of Avain's face a moment later along with the rest of his body. He looks up as he climbs toward the peak which he notices in the next panel, like the base, is a sizable distance away. The TD has, at this point, shrunk to a near pocket size in his left hand while the Tridentis retains its normal shape. You can see more patches of the previous tropical scenery below either disintegrating or detaching from the ground. AVAIN [groaning, determined; Panel 2]: It is... AVAIN [Cont., dejected but still determined; Panel 3]: Not even close! Panel 4: Back to a side shot that we saw in the previous page as well as in Panel 1. We see the good captain in action as he slowly but surely makes his ascent up the perilously high mountain, seen in shadows of three as he moves. One of which (the bottom shadow to be exact) includes Avain slipping the now pocket sized Trap Door into the pocket of his dark trousers. AVAIN [to himself, groaning/determined; the middle shadow]: Gotta keep moving... AVAIN [Cont.; the top shadow]: Gotta...keep... Panel 5: We move to an ominous shot, set in an all-black area that resembles somewhat the scenery of the Nebulous Dark area, of an unconscious Ghede. The layout of the panel is such that we don't see her Molltach Minaj anywhere in view. AVAIN [Cont., Off-Panel]: Moving!... END OF ISSUE 7
