Ghede: Guerrier Extraordinaire #8: Pages 5-6

Page 5, 6 Panels- Nebulous Dark area between realms/Kagu-Tsuchi's Mountaintop Dwelling Panel 1: Back to a shot of the Haitian guerrier moments later. The light from inside hitting her in the face, giving it a bit of a yellow glow. She smiles opportunistically at what she's seen. Her tongue pressing up from the inside of her bottom lip. GHEDE [translated from Haitian Creole; thinking to herself]: Oh, sweet Halah... Panel 2: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. We see Ghede rise up a couple of feet in the air above the hole, giving the same yellow glow to her lower body to her calves that had prevously hit only her face. Her legs, meanwhile, grow in size and muscular strength in preparation for the move. You can see her tongue slide back inside her mouth at the same moment. GHEDE [Cont., thinking to herself]: Please give me this lucky break! Panel 3-6: The first three panels (Panels 3-5) run in a single action shot. The layout shows our Haitian guerrier in the sky and then smashing the hole with her super-muscular legs. The cracks in the floor grow with each successive panel that goes by. Finally, in Panel 6, the hole breaks open and our heroine falls through. Page 6, 2 Panels- Kagu-Tsuchi's Mountaintop Dwelling Panel 1: A three-quarters sized page shot of the interior of the room that we saw only in briefly in the last panel of Page 4. Ghede descends down the center of the panel view. Her legs returning to her normal shape and size. Her image showing at four different points, forming a straight line of sight that draws down to the ground like a rock. You can see in the background to the right a window, showing a little slice of the sky through it. GHEDE [translated from Haitian Creole; 1st through 4th shadows]: AHHH... Panel 2: One-quarter sized page panel from the ground upward showing the Haitian guerrier levitating a couple of feet off of the ground. The background above her shows what appears to be the interior of a roof. You can also see part of the hole leading to the nebulous dark area behind her at that moment as she laughs hysterically.
