The Boo-Ya! #5: Pages 13-14
Page 13, 4 Panels- "Goldmember," Moltrasio Italy Panel 1: Same setting as the last panel of the previous page. The layout widens to a full page as, a split second later, the soldier pulls the trigger and the massive discharge of energy that bursts forth from the dual barrels. In the background of the sky, you can see a section of clouds come into view over her right shoulder. Panel 2-4: A three-part set of mini panels that follows the burst of orange-yellow energy in its condensed beam-like form. Each one following a trajectory toward the bottom left corner of the page where we see the roofless command center in view. You can even see the speck of what appears to be Mr. Tja'Brin make his way down toward the empty gap that he tried to hide in before. Page 14, 5 Panels- "Goldmember," Moltrasio Italy Panel 1: Cut to an exterior shot that takes up most of the top half of the page, showing the center going up in a powerful ball of explosion into the sky. The fire shoots up into the sky ala a mushroom cloud, providing a layer of orange and yellow into the blue and white of the Italian afternoon. You can see a winged speck just above the explosion representing Private Simms, moving away from the blast at the same point. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Off-Panel]: Holy shit... Panel 2: We move to a shot of Robin's face, looking on a distance away from the scene on the pier. She's clearly in awe at what has just happened, and also a tiny bit scared over what may happen next. In the background, you can see the pier's wooden walkway as well as parts of other ships nearby to the right and the street leading to the pier's entrance far off in the distance. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., trying to wrap her head around the scene]: Was that the aliens or...us? Panel 3: Same setting as the previous panel. The layout widens slightly, taking in a little more of Ms. Cartwright's body a couple of beats later. She starts to quicken her pace toward a hard run in the direction of the blast. A jolt of adrenaline going through her body at that moment as she moves toward the yacht as fast as she can. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [tense, putting on an aura of bravery]: Either damn way, I--I--I gotta help them! Panel 4-5: A two-part set of panels that move to a side shot of our human heroine a minute later. Each one connecting to a section of the pier thirty feet from where she was at the start of the page. The action of her running is noticeably quicker through Panel 4, slowing down at the right of the panel view going into Panel 5. Finally, she stops in the center of the panel view, completely out of breath. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., Panel 4]: They could be in great danger somehow. Maybe I can disrupt the alien ship's computers...make sure they don't...escape...off-planet... ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., Panel 5]: Damn running...can eat...so many dicks!
