The Boo-Ya! #5: Pages 15-16

Page 15, 6 Panels- Pier, Moltrasio Italy Panel 1: Same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page. A minute passes by, and Robin finally starts to get her breath back together once more. She tilts her head back up, looking toward the right of the panel view in the direction of the "Goldmember." Before she's able to speak though, her phone rings from within her coat pocket, playing the theme to "Star Trek: Voyager" as a ringtone. Panel 2-3: Close-up slightly on Ms. Cartwright a few moments later as she reaches into her coat and pulls her smartphone out to answer it by the time we reach Panel 3. She only gives a single glancing look at the screen in between those actions. In the background, you can see a mix of blue and white from the side of a ship nearby. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [answering the phone, to Jess; Panel 3]: Jess? JESS [from the phone, to Robin; Panel 3]: Hey...the fight on the pier's all over the news here. Are you okay? Panel 4: We move to a shot of our human heroine's face a split second later. She has a noticeable look of confusion on her face upon the first half of the statement. You can see some of the walkway and other ships behind her in the background, along with the entrance far off in the distance. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [confused, looking up toward the sky]: I'm fine, but...how exactly does the press know? I don't see any news helicopters or drones in the air, nor did I see any-- JESS [interjecting from the phone speaker]: Really? Smart phones! They said it's from one of the other ships nearby. I thought you were a tech genius. Panel 5-6: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. In Panel 5, Robin lets out a halted chuckle and flashes a brief grin at the statement. In the background, on the street just across from there, you can see the front of a police car start to drive into view. Then, in the next panel, another one comes into view, blaring the loud sirens into the air which halts the now former NATO Private back into business. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [nodding, Panel 5]: Right right...sorry. Just been having one of those "world sucks mightily" type days trying to find these OWIs. I'm close to where they're at, I think. You have any idea whether or not it's actually the C.A.T. on that hideous eyesore of a boat? JESS [interjecting through the receiver, Panel 5]: Yeah, it's them. I know she has orders to arrest you, but if you see Capt. Matthews, tell her Jess from Intelligence says hi. JESS [Cont.; Panel 5, Bubble 2]: I have a bit of a...girl crush on her. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Panel 5, Bubble 2]: Understandable. I'll be sure to tell her that just before-- ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [glances over her shoulder and sees the police cars; Panel 6]: Right--hold that thought, buddy! Page 16, 6 Panels- Pier/"Goldmember," Moltrasio Italy Panel 1: Same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page. A few moments later, we see Ms. Cartwright turn around to face the roar of the police sirens. Her right hand clicking off the phone, looking on at the officers from the street who are coming toward her. You can see, around the left of the panel view, the rears of other ships nearby as well as the "Goldmember" far at the end. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., Off-Panel caption]: "My day's about to step into a world of pure misery!" OFFICER [translated from the lilting, and sometimes intimidating, tone of Italian; Off-Panel]: Freeze! Hands above your head... ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [to the Officers, very compliantly]: Okay, okay. First, let me put my phone back in my pocket. Panel 2-3: A two-part set of panels centered back on the same setting and layout as the previous panel. In Panel 2, we see Robin slowly lowering her phone back into her corresponding right pants pocket. Her eyes locked on the rushing bodies of cops coming to her position. Suddenly, in the next panel, a loud explosion can be heard from the direction of the gold colored yacht, which stops her statement right then and there. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., Panel 2]: See? It's just a phone. Nothing dangerous or murderous. It's clearly not a bomb or some type of Fragarach, though man it would be so awesome if it were... SOUND EFFECT [Off-Panel left, Panel 3]: BABOOMM!! ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [closing her eyes, thought bubble, Panel 3]: Of. Course that happened! Panel 4: Action shot, elevated from sky level looking down, of Robin turning around and running from a few strings of gunfire in the direction of the "Goldmember" that is more visible in the upper part of the panel. You can also see a few plumes of smoke and rubble coming from the top deck area of the yacht. CAPTAIN MATTHEWS [Off-Panel]: What the fuck was that?! Panel 5: Cut to a shot of Ms. Matthews a moment later, reunited with her weapon holstered to her side, standing a few feet away from the walkway entrance to the "Goldmember" and watching smoking wreckage of the Command Center. PFC Moore is standing right next to her with an equally befuddled look on her face, holding the Madam using a device on her wrist that helps tether the energy chains binding her to the soldier's vicinity. CAPTAIN MATTHEWS [looking up skyward, to Private Simms]: You max the output on the Big Pun again, Simms? Panel 6: We tilt skyward to a shot of Althea a few beats later. She looks on at the fire going on down below, looking through a stream of data that appears in front of her through the view screen of her helmet. Her massive rocket launcher of a gun is still gripped in her hands, albeit lowered slightly than it was back in the previous page. There's a noticeable look of curiosity on her face as she speaks. PRIVATE SIMMS [shaking her head, to Captain Matthews]: No, ma'am, that wasn't me. For once. The explosion appears to have been come from inside the ship near the...
