The Boo-Ya! #5: Pages 21-22

Page 21, 5 Panels- Pier, Moltrasio Italy Panel 1: We move to a wider shot showing the top half of Ms. Cartwright's body, stopping at the shoulders. She looks on at the fireball, which illuminates her head and body as well as the immediate vicinity of the pier behind her. You can also see in the background a group of shadows representing the police officers moving toward her. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., despondent]: No no no no...this can't be it! Not now, not after... OFFICERS [in the distance, to Robin]: Freeze... Panel 2: Cut to a side shot of our human protagonist taking off on another sprint forward toward the wreckage of the yacht. Every inch of her body envigorated with adrenaline and purpose for what needs to be done. You can see part of another boat to the left of the background as she speaks. You can also see the growing wave of energy ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., despondent and determined]: Not after risking my fracking job, after all the shit I've had to deal with just to get here! OFFICERS [Off-Panel left]: Freeze or we'll shoot! Panel 3-5: A three-part set of panels centered on the human protagonist in the same setting and layout as the previous panel. With each panel, you can see her running slower and slower as time around her slows to a crawl. The energy moving from right to left coming closer and closer to Robin till, in Panel 5, it freezes her in a single snapshot in time. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [more determined than despondent, Panel 3]: Well, if this is how I die... ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., the speech going slower and slower; Panel 4]: I miiight as welll goooo outtt... ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., Panel 5]: Janeeewayyyy...styyle! SOUND EFFECT [Off-Panel left, Panel 5]: BANG! Page 22, 1 Panel- Dimensional Bubble, Pier, Moltrasio Italy Panel 1: A full-page sized panel showing her face locked in the same pose she was in at the last panel of the previous page. She still has the same determined look on her face that she had then, even as the background around them is now covered in an eerie light blue color. As this goes on, the sound of the bullets moving toward her position become progressively more noticeable on the left of the panel view, descending like the Times Square ball down to the bottom as she speaks. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [thought bubble]: "Bloody hell! This...this is an honest to God time stasis bubble, isn't it?" ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., thought bubble 2]: "I know I should be terrified, or wondering what the hell is going on right. But this is...so cool!" ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., thought bubbe 3]: "I wanna at least relish it a little longer before another totally mental thing happens to smash it apart. Which, given my luck, should be coming in three...two..."
