The Boo-Ya! #6: Pages 7-8

Page 9, 7 Panels- Command Center, the Boo-Ya! Panel 1: Cut to a shot of Staehlia standing in front of the door leading out into the hallway, which is seen partially in the background as well as a section of Jupiter from outside. She looks over in her captain's direction with confused, yet somewhat understandable befuddlement on her face. Her arms are firmly placed at her side in an almost robotic like position. STAEHLIA [somewhat explanatory, to the Madam]: I do not believe humans fling their twinsechstin in such a reckless fashion. Panel 2: Back to a shot of the good captain a moment later. The setting and layout is similar to the one that we saw in the last panel of the previous page. You can see her lean back a little more against the hard leather chair she's sitting on, ready to fire back at her communications officer's insinuation. THE MADAM [fires back knowingly, to Staehila]: But they did evolve from an Ey-arth species that do fling their twinsechstin, right? Panel 3-4: A two-part set of panels that are centered back on the young Titanian genius. The setting and layout is similar to the one that we saw in the start of the page. In Panel 3, we see Staehlia open her mouth as if she's about to respond to the question. Yet a split second later, in Panel 4, she stays silent and gives a quick nod in her captain's direction. Her brain immediatley realizing the deeper truth behind the statement. STAEHLIA [in partial agreement, Panel 3]: Correct, whenever it is provoked or angered by someone... STAEHLIA [Panel 4]: I will get the cleaning products from the utility closet. Panel 5: Action shot taken from the side of the center, watching as Staehlia steps out of the opened doorway and out to the left of the hallway toward where our human protagonist is laying. You can see a little section of the left side of the command center throughout the panel as well as the Madam turning her head back to the main screen. Panel 6: Cut to a shot of Nessa seated in the pilot's chair moments later, just as the door closes shut. She looks over her shoulder in the direction of her captain, flashing a curious eyebrow upon hearing the words "cleaning products." You can hear in the background, along with the little section of the ship that is visible behind her, the "WHOOSH!" sound of the door closing off-panel. NESSA [surprised, to the Madam]: We have cleaning products? Panel 7: Back to a shot of the Madam in a similar setting and layout to the one we saw in Panel 2. She looks down knowingly toward her second-in-command in order to deliver the explanation. Her back lifts up from the leather of the chair compared to that point in the page, leaving her in a normal seated position. THE MADAM [matter of factly, to Nessa]: Yeah, it was during that whole Sharlast drama many moons back. Remember, their entrails covered most of the lower deck for weatts as well as the flarking cargo bay. It wasn't till Stahl cooked up her chemicals that the bett'n thing was cleaned-- NESSA [Off-Panel, remembering]: Oh yeah... Page 10, 6 Panels- Command Center/Hallway, the Boo-Ya! Panel 1: We cut back to Nessa in a similar setting and layout to the second-to-last panel of the previous page. She lets out a hearty chuckle, remembering the event in question as she turns her head back toward the screen. You can see a wide grin come over her face as she speaks, half of which is seen via the upstage part of the panel view. NESSA [Cont.]: I'd get a contact high every time I had to tweak the ship's engines...fun time! Panel 2-3: A two-part set of panels that are centered back on Staehlia as she makes her way at a solid pace to the ship's utility closet. Her eyes are firmly focused on a point upstage to the panel view in Panel 2, which she ends up reaching by the time we move to Panel 3. You can see, at this point, her body shift toward the door leading to the closet. Her right hand reaching out to type in the code unlocking it. NESSA [Off-Panel to the Madam, Panel 2]: "How do you think the meatbag'll react, once she finds out where she's at?" THE MADAM [Off-Panel to Nessa, Panel 2]: "I have no idea...could go either way really. Personally, I'm just hoping she ends up being useful while she's here." THE MADAM [Cont. Off-Panel, Panel 3]: "Even if it's just to boost the ship's food supply." Panel 4: Cut to an interior shot of the closet when, a few seconds later, the door "WHOOSH!"es open. We see Staehlia standing in the doorway, looking down in the direction of the containers of chemicals that are off-panel at this point. You can see in the background a little section of stars visible from outside the windows. Panel 5-6: A two-part set of panels centered around the same setting as the previous panel. In Panel 5, we see the young Titanian find the containers a short time later and start to walk inside. Just as she's about to bend down and grab the one that she wants, her attention is suddenly grabbed by a loud shout emanating from outside. SOUND [Off-Panel left, Panel 5 and 6]: AHHHH!! STAEHLIA [looking to her left, casually; Panel 6]: She is still living...good sign.
