The Boo-Ya! #6: Pages 11-12
Page 11, 6 Panels- Hallway, the Boo-Ya! Panel 1: Same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page. A split second later, we see Staehlia start to turn the rest of her body around in order to address the mystery sound, which has now grown in volume at this point. You can also hear the sound of frantic footsteps moving toward the open doorway. At the same moment the youg Titanian is moving, you can also see her reach into one of her trouser pockets to fiddle around with some type of device. SOUND [Off-Panel left]: Ohmygodohmygodohmygod.... STAEHLIA [to herself]: The screaming and frantic muttering could be a problem... Panel 2-4: A three-part set of panels, shot from over Staehlia's shoulder over the course of a minute. With each panel, we see the image of Robin frantically running up toward her, screaming and looking around at the weird imagery with an ever increasing level of anxiety. All as the comm officer types away on the mystery device in her pocket. By the time we reach Panel 4, just as she's standing entirely in front of her, she presses the button. STAEHLIA [Cont., to herself; Panel 2]: One that is easily remedied. SOUND EFFECT [from the pocket area rightward, Panel 4]: BEEP! Panel 5-6: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A split second later, Robin is stopped suddenly by a loud "BUZZ!" that rings inside her head. You can see Staehlia's hand move out of her pocket at the same moment this takes place. In Panel 6, a few moments later, her hand gently touches the shoulder of our human protagonist as she slowly regains her senses once more. STAEHLIA [to herself with confidence, Panel 5]: That should be enough to calm her down, and to get the Petyr activated. STAEHLIA [Cont., to Robin; Panel 6]: Hello there, Ms. Cartwright. My name is Staehlia...can you understand me? ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [woozy, Panel 6]: Whauh...? Page 12, 7 Panels- Hallway, the Boo-Ya! Panel 1: Cut to a shot of Staehlia's face a few moments later, taken from Ms. Cartwright's perspective. She moves her head a little closer to the human, carefully examining the subject as she speaks. You can see the background of the hallway behind her at the same moment, leading up to a bend that moves to the right out of view. STAEHLIA [to Robin, slowly and with care]: Can you...understand...me? Panel 2: Back to a shot of Robin a moment later, standing at the opposite end of the hallway that is visible behind her in the background. The point of view of the panel is squarely from Staehlia. She looks on at the strange alien and nods, though still with a level of confusion at certain details that is visible on her face as she speaks. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [to Staehlia]: Yes, I can understand you. The how though's a little fuzzy to me. Panel 3: Same setting/layout as Panel 1, along with the same background. We see Staehlia give out a slight chuckle and smirk in response to the question that quantifies a hilarious chuckle to others. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., Off-Panel bubble]: You can speak English? STAEHLIA [correctively]: Actually what you are hearing is the result of a microscopic universal lingual translator of my own invention slipped inside your eardrum. It shifts whatever one says into the native tongue of the person listening to it. Panel 4-5: Same setting/layout as Panel 2, as well as the same background behind her. Robin listens on to what she's been saying, trying her very best to contemplate the awesomeness of it all. In Panel 5, our human heroine shakes her head violently to the question. The pupils of her eyes widen out in fear, remembering what happened to her before. STAEHLIA [Cont., Off-Panel bubble; Panel 4]: If you wish, I can help you take the device out so you can hear some of my native tongue. It is a fairly easy pro-- ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [interjecting with panic, Panel 5]: No no, PLEASE no! I... ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., more calmer; Panel 5, Bubble 2]: I'll take your word for it. Panel 6-7: Same setting/layout in Panel 6 as the previous panel, as well as the same background behind our human heroine. Robin turns her head to the right and starts walking in the direction of the off-panel windows, checking out the sights for the first time since arriving on the ship. She looks on amazed as the eastern half of Jupiter appears in view. You can see the growing sense of calm and curiousity come over her as she speaks. In the next panel, as the layout and setting tilts to signify the Titanian genius looking at Ms. Cartwright standing near the window, she turns back toward Staehlia with a sudden realization. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [amazed, to herself; Panel 6]: By Tennant's tight buns...this is amazing! ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [to Staehlia, angered; Panel 7]: Your A.I. told me what happened in Italy. You mind telling me why you abducted me?!
