The Boo-Ya! #6: Pages 19-20
Page 19, 6 Panels- Command Center/ the Boo-Ya! Panel 1: Same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page. A few moments later, the Madam lessens her grip on the chair and starts to make her way closer to the ship's view screen. Her prior anger and annoyance on her face and in her body language has mellowed slightly at this point. THE MADAM [Cont.]: No mail, no buzz from the comm...I understand why you had to do it, navigating his pretentious flarking twinsechstin. Panel 2-3: A two-part set of panels that are centered on the same setting as the previous panel. The layout widens slightly with each panel, following as the good captain moves closer to the screen as she speaks. She stops by the time we reach Panel 3; her mannerisms now at a more standard, business-like level. THE MADAM [Cont., Panel 2]: But I like to think, after everything we've shared over the quinlas... THE MADAM [Cont., slightly more annoyed than earlier; Panel 3]: That you'd give us more than "I've got something important for your ship...come to Ervaht!" THE MADAM [Panel 3, Bubble 2]: (Not that I'd say no to more ched...) Panel 4: We cut to a shot of S'amahnta from the view screen. She's seated in front of a black background with tints of blue emanating from what appears to be a small shrine over her right shoulder off in the distance. S'amahnta is a tall, model-thin Plutonian with skin as beautiful as blue tourmaline and bald as can be. S'AMAHNTA [apologetically, to the Madam]: I know you're not a big fan of secrets, but I promise you it will make sense when we meet. Panel 5-6: A two-part set of panels that center back on the Madam a second later. The setting and layout, as well as the background, is similar to what we saw in Panel 3. In Panel 5, she raises a curious eyebrow in regards to the statement; as if one last connection in her mind had finally been made as a result of it. In the next panel though, the Killeman's attention is drawn to the left at the sound of the entrance door to the center opening up. THE MADAM [intrigued, Panel 5]: This is about the bett'n MP, isn't it? I always knew that holier than thou prohtas was nothing more than a... ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Off-Panel, excited; Panel 6]: Sweet fracking Nichelle! Page 20, 5 Panels- Command Center, the Boo-Ya! Panel 1: We move to an action shot of Robin moving through the doorway and into the command center. She looks around at everything with a sense of awe and wonder, holding back a powerful, geeky "SQUEE!" as she walks. You can see in the background, to the right of Ms. Cartwright, Staehlia looking on with the same level of curiosity that one would give a slow-moving car crash. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont.]: This is...I'm on the Bridge! An actual, honest to the Gods Bridge! A glorious mix of Serenity and Voyager. So pretty...just as I... Panel 2-3: Same setting as the previous panel. The layout zooms in closer on the face of our human protagonist who, for the first time, has taken a hard glance at S'amahnta's visage on the viewscreen. Her sense of awe has now shifted toward one of arousal upon seeing the gorgeous Plutonian. In Panel 3, after many awkward seconds, she finally waves to the alien woman with her right hand. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [stammering, to S'amahnta; Panel 2]: I--I--I--I--I, um... ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., awkward; Panel 3]: Hi! Panel 4: Cut back to S'amahnta looking on at the young woman a split second later. The background behind her of her ship is similar to the one we saw her in in the previous page. She flashes a beaming smile at Robin, and chuckles like a parent watching their infant doing something adorable. S'AMAHNTA [chuckles, to Robin]: Hello...you must be the human Stahl snatched from the backward water planet. Welcome to the Boo-Ya!. I hope you find quite enjoyable... Panel 5: Same setting/layout as the previous panel, along with the same background. A couple of seconds later, the Plutonian's chuckle fades along with her smile which has settled now to more of a slight grin as she speaks. Her attention has also widened to take in the entire room at that moment, along with Robin. S'AMAHNTA [Cont.]: A little piece of advice? If you come across someone from Ihjnauss in your travels, don't do that waving thing. They will not hesitate to tear that pretty hand of yours off. S'AMAHNTA [Bubble 2]: Also...try not to die!
