The Boo-Ya! #6: Pages 21-22
Page 21, 6 Panels- Command Center, the Boo-Ya! Panel 1: We move to a shot of Robin standing in the same position that we saw her in in the middle of the previous page. She smirks and lets out a slight chuckle, as if the warning is nothing new to her (because it isn't). In the background, you can see Staehlia start to walk out of view toward her station at the same moment. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [slight snark mixed with truth, to S'amahnta]: Story of my life... Panel 2-3: A two-part set of panels that are centered back on the Madam standing in front of her captain's chair, looking on at the young human woman. In Panel 2, it starts with a clear degree of disinterest in what's she said at that moment as Staehlia finally reaches her station. In the next panel, as the Titanian sits down, we see the good captain take a step forward toward the screen. Her left hand slipping into one of the pockets of her leather trenchcoat. THE MADAM [going back to the business at hand, Panel 2]: Now, that's taken care of, my dear... THE MADAM [Cont., to S'amahnta; Panel 3]: Let's get back to the question you didn't actually answer Panel 4: Cut to a shot of S'amahnta listening on at the view screen a few seconds later. The Plutonian nods at the question being posted from the good captain, whose shadow from the back is seen in the foreground of the panel, at that moment. In the background of the screen, from the window of S'am's room, you can see the edge of a planet come into view. THE MADAM [Cont.]: Is the job associated with the MP? S'AMAHNTA [truthfully, to the Madam]: ...Yes it is. That's the most you are going to get from me, too. Not until we meet in Ervaht. Knowing you, however, it should be more than enough to satiate your curiosity to take the meeting... Panel 5: Slight close-up on S'amahnta's face a few moments later. The setting and layout is similar to what we saw in the previous panel, outside of the elimination of the Madam's shadow from the panel view. At this point, she has her own sly smile and chuckle directed toward the Killeman. S'AMAHNTA [Cont.]: Especially given your hatred of him, and politicos on the whole. Panel 6: Back to a shot of the Madam in the same position that she was in when we saw her in Panel 3. She lets out a louder chuckle in response to S'am's insinuation, flashing a wider smile that shows off all of her teeth at that moment. As she speaks, you can hear the sound of awkward footsteps coming out of view from the left of the panel. THE MADAM: True, dealuv. It is enough... Page 22, 7 Panels- Command Center, the Boo-Ya! Panel 1-2: Same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page. A few moments later, we see the Madam remember a fond moment from their past. You can see part of her tongue stick out between her teeth, looking over in the Plutonian's direction with the fires of bedroom passions burning in her eyes as she speaks. The footsteps continue on from the left, showing part of a shadow as it starts to come into view of the panel. In Panel 2, we can see a little part of Robin to the left looking on with curiosity THE MADAM [Cont., nodding; Panel 1]: Alright, we'll be there. But only if we can squeeze in a little time in the Holodeck. I've been itching to do some sunbathing in the Danviers, among other things... THE MADAM [with a little flirty sweetness on top, Panel 2]: I'll wear that pretty chainmail number you gave me with the thought-activated vibrating micro-hairs. S'AMAHNTA [Off-Panel]: Really? Panel 3: Cut back to S'amahnta on the viewscreen. She chuckles warmly at the offer and smiles, showing a set of teeth that have the same gleam to them as ice with its blend of light blue and white that gleam slightly with the ceiling lights above her. You can see the planet that was partially in view in the previous page start to come into more prominence through the window of her room. S'AMAHNTA [Cont. to the Madam, with a nod]: Okay...we'll squeeze in the Danviers- after we talk about the job. Panel 4: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. We see S'am lean a little closer toward the viewscreen with the same type of highly flirtatious energy that we saw from the Madam at the top of the page. The smile on her face fades ever so gently to a grin as she addresses her Killeman lover. S'AMAHNTA [flirty]: I'll show you a little trick I picked up from the spouse of the Tazaxian MP. Panel 5-7: A three-part set of panels that are centered back on the Madam in the same setting and layout that we saw back in Panel 2. The good captain chuckles in Panel 5, showcasing a great level of excitement at the prospect as she gives out one last exclamation before the screen goes black in Panel 6. Also in Panel 6, we see her stand in that same spot for a few moments in the glow of love. A few moments later, she snaps out of it by the sound of Robin who has been standing behind her through each panel, trying to recover from what she had just seen. THE MADAM [excited, Panel 5]: I can't wait...see you in a couple quinlas! THE MADAM [to Robin, with some force; Panel 7]: Please tell me you have a use, meatbag, outside of stammering and occupying physical space. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [stammering, looking for words; Panel 7]: Well I, um...[throat clearing]
