The Boo-Ya! #7: Pages 9-10
Page 9, 5 Panels- Cargo Bay, the Boo-Ya! Panel 1: Cut to a close-up of a black and gray chest piece a minute later. It's not terribly bulky or well maintained judging by the smudges of dirt and mud on parts of the top left corner of the panel view. In the center of the shot, you can see a circular device attached to the suit with similarly colored pipes connected into the suit. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., Caption 1]: "Are we actually going down there...in space suits?" THE MADAM [Caption 2]: "Of course, human Robin! It's the best way to actually get to Ervaht." Panel 2: Same setting as the previous panel. The layout widens slightly to take in a little more of the mystery suit. As a result, we see a little more of the space suit and its multiple dirty spots. The thinness of the material is still in play at this point, but there's also a strength that starts to come into view at this point. You can also see, in the top right of the panel view, the bottom of what appears to be an emblem come into view. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Caption 1]: "What about that Hopper thing? Isn't that safer and a whole lot less..death-y?" THE MADAM [Caption 2]: "Not unless you fancy having your pink-red innards charbroiled by the force field barrier." ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Caption 3]: "Ah...!" Panel 3: Same setting as the previous panel. The layout, as was the case with the other two panels, widens a little more to the point that we can see the bottom edge of the neck appear in view in the top center of the panel. The emblem that was visible on the right of the panel in Panel 2 is now fully visible, displaying the colors and logo of the Tristellar Alliance. For the first time, you can see a little of the cargo bay peep through on the left of the panel view. THE MADAM [Caption 1]: "Don't worry, S'am should be there waiting for us at the tunnel once we get there." ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Caption 2]: "Okay...wasn't quite what I was afraid of. Does Ervaht have any type of big guns they use for defense?" Panel 4-5: A two-part set of panels that center on the same setting as the previous panel. In Panel 4, we go through the last of the widening of the panel's layout to where we see the Madam standing in front of the cargo bay door, decked out in one of the ship's durable space suits. It's topped with a glass breathing apparatus over her massive head, and the sight of a jet pack behind her. In the next panel, you can see her right hand touching the holster of her energy sword placed on her side. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., Off-Panel; Panel 4]: Last time I jumped out of a plane, I got shot at and tweaked my right foot. Two things I'd rather fracking duck this time around. THE MADAM [casually, to Robin; Panel 4]: They do, but they're tapped to the owner Kari. And I imagine S'am told her we were coming, so...we should be fine. THE MADAM [with a cocky half grin; Panel 5]: Now...you read to fly, little Robin? Page 10, 5 Panels- Cargo Bay, the Boo-Ya! Panel 1-2: A two-part set of panels that cut back to Robin standing in the opposite end of the bay decked out in a smaller version of the suit that the captain is wearing at that moment. In the first panel, our human protagonist looks on with a bit of apprehension and a nervous chuckle, looking for the words to reply. Then, a couple of seconds later in Panel 2, a gust of wind rushes inside. You can hear the Madam chuckling happily off-panel just before leaping out of the cargo bay into space. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [nervous through the suit's speaker, to the Madam; Panel 1]: Well, I could...always use a little time to wait-- THE MADAM [interjecting, to Capaldi; Panel 1]: Open the bay doors, Capaldi! ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [shrugs nervously, but going along for the ride; Panel 2]: Or we could just jump into the great unknown like Cap. Panel 3-5: A three-part set of panels that center on a side shot of Ms. Cartwright running as fast as the suit will allow her toward the opened doorway that appears more and more into view on the right of the panel view. Each step and each word used to psyche the young woman up for that final leap out by the time we reach Panel 5. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [psyching herself, Panel 3]: Be like Martha... ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., Panel 4]: Be like Martha... ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., Panel 5]: Be like Martha...Be like... ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Off-Panel out of the ship; Panel 5, Bubble 2]: MARTHAAA...!
