The Boo-Ya! #7: Pages 11-12
Page 11, 6 Panels- Tunnel into Ervaht, A Few Minuyats Later Panel 1: As the young human woman's excited yell evolving from the previous page into a steady intergalactic rock song, we see S'amahnta waiting patiently inside the tunnel leading into Ervaht. She's wearing a silky light blue dress, standing out in a sea of sterile white in the background, and has a purse made of diamonds with a hard leather strap looped over her left shoulder. Her ovular eyes looking toward the right, waiting for her guests. GUARDBOT [Off-Panel in robotic voice, to S'amahnta]: Miss...Miss? Panel 2: Cut to a shot of the Guardbot standing sentry at the entrance doors to the tunnel. A little more of the sterile white and gray of the setting behind the machine and to the sides as it speaks. The faceless, skinny guardbot takes a single step forward toward the Plutonian whose back is shown to the reader at this point. GUARDBOT [curious]: Are you sure you want to wait for your guests in the hall? You can always do so inside the bar, or... Panel 3: Cut to a close-up of S'am's face a split second later. She casually shakes her head in regards to the guardbot's question. Her tone of voice and body language both eliciting a serenity and sense of peace to her that comes with who she is. You can see, as she speaks, a little dark speck off in the distance of the hallway where it ends. S'AMAHNTA [calm, to the Guardbot]: No, here will be fine. It's where I told them I'd be anyhow. Also, my dear friend likes to...make an entrance. Panel 4-6: A three-part set of panels that cut back to the same type of shot from the shoulders up of the Guardbot standing at the entrance. Everything remains very peaceful through the course of the first two panels with the robot looking on with a quite quizzical tone in its body language. Then comes Panel 6 when a loud "THOOOM!" suddenly pops up, shaking with such power (even between the armored doors) that the Guardbot jumps three feet off the ground in fear. Page 12, 7 Panels- Tunnel to Ervaht Panel 1-2: A two-part set of panels that center on the door within a couple of seconds of where we left off at the end of the previous page. In Panel 1, the doors slide open to reveal the Madam in a heroic Iron Man pose at the center of a darkened area with a beam of light illuminating it. In the next panel, with the doors fully opened, the good Killeman rises from ground level and looks squarely in S'amahnta's direction with a playful grin. S'AMAHNTA [Off-Panel, Panel 1]: [chuckles] S'AMAHNTA [Off-Panel; Panel 2]: Always good for entertainment, my dealuv...! Panel 3: Cut to a shot of the Plutonian a split second later as she warmly walks over to the partner she hadn't seen in many moons. The white and gray of the tunnel visible behind her in the background as she speaks. S'AMAHNTA [Cont., with a wide smile]: You've spent far too long watching the superhero films on Earth. THE MADAM [chuckling, Off-Panel]: It's the only good thing about that bett'n planet, S'am...! Panel 4-5: A two-part set of panels that moves to a side shot of the two of them as they meet in the middle a short time later. In Panel 4, the two of them wrap each other in a warm embrace (The Madam's helmet resting gently on S'am's back while S'am's purse rests on the Madam's lower back) and kiss passionately with the warmth of two lovers with a long history. A few long moments later, in Panel 5, they break apart slightly, S'am on the left and the Madam on the right, leaving a one-step gap between the two of them. Each of them holding one another's hands. S'AMAHNTA [to the Madam, looking out toward the right of the panel view; Panel 5]: How are you? Did you bring the human Robin along? I was hoping to see her in person. It's been so long since I've seen a human in the flesh. THE MADAM [nods, to S'amahnta; Panel 5]: I'm good. She should be landing on the platform any time now. Then we can head inside and... Panel 6: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. The captain's train of thought is momentarily interrupted a second later by the sound of a loud "THUD!" emanating from off-panel right. She looks over her shoulder in the same direction that the beautiful Plutonian happens to be looking at at that moment. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Off-Panel, proud of herself]: [chuckles] Damn poeth...landed on my feet! Panel 7: Cut to a shot of Robin as she walks through the doorway, albeit in a wavular fashion, and formally steps onto the gray hard tile floor of the tunnel. She reaches up and touches the bottom edges of her helmet, ready to take it off. You can see in her eyes though, along with the rest of the body language, a bit of motion sickness start to come into play as she speaks. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., increasingly slurry]: An' nothin' brohktu...yay for progreh--
