The Boo-Ya! #7: Pages 19-20
Page 19, 9 Panels- Secure Zoen, Ervaht Panel 1-9: A set of panels, stacked three to a row, centered strictly on the Madam as she reads the litany of documents and video clips that pop up from the same 3-D display as the training video earlier in a montage of action. Intermittently taking a deep swig of the Choi'nzz in one panel or taking a handful of noichas in another. With each file, you can see the weight of the situation slowly come into perspective for her till she reaches the end of it in Panel 7 and turns it off. The final two panels are just her in thought over what she's seen and read. THE MADAM [certain, Panel 9]: Flark it, we're in! Page 20, 6 Panels- Secure Zoen, Ervaht Panel 1: Same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page minutes later. She tilts her eyes up from the data disk squarely in the direction of the off-panel Plutonian. Her right hand is pressed down on the table top next to the now quarter-full glass. You can see her face shift into work mode as she's fully on-board with the mission. THE MADAM [Cont. to S'amahnta, looking for some details]: So, how are we gonna pull this off? Destroy the Spear, off the little ant in his office...kaboom some type of TA tech powering it...? S'AMAHNTA [Off-Panel]: No, we are simply going to rob his office in the Capitol. Panel 2: Back to S'amahnta in a similar setting to the end of Page 18, albeit layered from a side shot. As she explains the situation to her partner, the Plutonian lowers the glass to the table from her lips after taking a swig during the previous panel. S'AMAHNTA [Cont. even keeled, to the Madam]: The power behind the Spear is activated by a remote control device. Which, given his penchance for secrecy, likely means that it's somewhere... Panel 3-4: Cut to a shot of the Madam in a similar setting and layout as the top of the page. She nods gently in agreement to the overall thought that S'am had presented back in Panel 2. Her left arm reaching out toward the bowl of noichas to pick up the remaining pieces of food in the basket. In Panel 4, we see the good Killeman talking through a full mouth moments later. THE MADAM [interjecting, Panel 3]: On his body. To pull that off, I'm gonna need someone with an invisibility cloak to slide in and out and nab it. S'AMAHNTA [Off-Panel, Panel 3]: Well ahead of you, Madam. I already buzz'd the good Doctor prior to notifying your ship. She should have a device ready, or close to ready within a few rohtlas. THE MADAM [Cont., Panel 4]: Excellent! I've never hit an MP's office before. I wonder how horrible it smells. S'AMAHNTA [sighs, Off-Panel; Panel 4]: There was a degree of good in Atom's heart, Madam... Panel 5: We move to a similar shot of S'amahnta a split second later. The setting and layout behind her is similar to what we saw in Panel 2. For the first time, we start to see a flicker of exasperation and sadness in her eyes as she speaks. Though it's not highly noticeable to anyone who doesn't know her intimately. S'AMAHNTA [Cont., to the Madam]: A level of great nobility and sweetness to himself till a few monats ago. I don't know if it was a put-on, but...I like to think it was indicative of a far hidden core. THE MADAM [Off-Panel]: "Oyet si chyan ni-gwallio..." S'AMAHNTA [Bubble 2]: "A good soul comes in many shades..." Your Plutonian has improved, if not the pronunciation. Panel 6: Back to the Madam in a similar setting and layout to what we saw in Panel 4. She displays a little bit of empathy toward her dealuv, flashing a loving half-grin at the same time. Her mind thinking about the hidden meaning behind those words in native Plutonian. THE MADAM [to S'amahnta]: Whenever I got the time...[slight chuckle] THE MADAM [Bubble 2]: I almost forgot how much I love your optimism and faith in humanoids.
