The Boo-Ya! #7: Pages 23-25

Page 23, 5 Panels- Ervaht Panel 1-2: Same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page. In Panel 1, as Steahlia is speaking via the comm, we see the Madam pound the rest of the Choi'nzz glass with one gulp. In the next panel, three seconds later, the Killeman slams the glass back down on the table and lets out a pleased gasp before speaking her line. STAEHLIA [from the comm speaker, Panel 1]: When do you want me to use the Hopper to 'port you and Ms. Robin back onto the Boo-Ya!, cap'n? THE MADAM [to Staehlia, into the comm; Panel 2]: Well, we still need to hammer a few more details on the job, along with some catching up. It shouldn't be more than... Panel 3: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. The Madam places her free hand on the comm's speaker, covering it from any audible noise to the other end. Her head tilting forward at the same time toward S'am's direction to say what she's about to say. THE MADAM [to S'am]: An horut should be enough for us, right? Panel 4: Cut to a shot of S'amahnta on the other side of the table. She gives a sly half-grin at the hidden context underneath what her partner had just said. In the background, you can hear an alarm blaring in the hall as the clientele get settled in their seats, preparing for what is about to come. You can also hear, albeit faintly, a countdown from 5 in an alien language. S'AMAHNTA [to the Madam, flirtatiously]: Maybe a little more than that. After all, we still have some--"exploring" on the Danviers to do. THE MADAM [Off-Panel, chuckling]: Good point, dealuv! Panel 5: Back to the Madam in a similar setting and layout to what we saw in Panel 3. Her hand is off the speaker at this point, and her eyes gleam with the same flames of flirtation that the Plutonian showcased in the previous panel as she addresses her friend. All the while, the countdown off-panel goes to its very last digits. THE MADAM [Cont. into the comm, to Staehlia]: Me and Robin should be finished in a couple of horuts... Page 24, 5 Panels- Deep Space above Ervaht/Xamaeleon's Ship Panel 1: We move to a shot of the exterior around Ervaht a split second later. The entire area where the restaurant/hiding area was disappears completely in a flash, leaving a blue-silver glow around the asteroid where it stood. THE MADAM [Cont., Off-Panel caption]: Till then, like I said, keep track the signature from Ervaht when it hits hyspeed and...try to keep my bett'n ship in one piece! Panel 2: A little square in the middle of the right side of the previous panel, just in orbit of the asteroid itself, where we see a blue dash off in the same direction that Ervaht disappeared toward. XAMAELEON [Off-Panel caption, bottom of the panel]: My hunch was right... Panel 3-5: A three-part set of panels that moves to the front of Xamaeleon's ship in the middle of hyspeed shortly after the action from Page 22. Around the general area of each panel, you can see the stars zooming past in silvery strings ala "Star Wars." XAMAELEON [Cont. caption, Panel 3]: Your Plutonian chicla's been spilling the beans about the Spear to someone on Ervaht. MP AHARONS [caption 2, Panel 3]: Who did she talk to? XAMAELEON [caption, Panel 4]: Not sure precisely. I had a minor scuffle with a ship parked nearby (that I didn't cause by the way). Didn't damage my ride too badly, but the place ended up disappearing before I could restart my spying tech again. MP AHARONS [caption 2, Panel 4]: [sighs]...Did you at least get the name of the ship who hit you? XAMAELEON [caption, Panel 5]: Yes, sir. It's called the Boo-Ya! (silly arse naem)...Sorta looks like an old Colony Cruiser I saw a time back. What do you want me to do with your squeeze? MP AHARONS [caption 2, Panel 5]: I will take care of that myself, along with her friends. You just make sure you lock in the sensors on the high peaks planet-side before the gala in a weatt. XAMAELEON [caption 3, Panel 5]: Aye-aye, boss... Page 25, 1 Panel- Athos Panel 1: Cut to a full-page shot of Xamaeleon's ship moments later as it drops out of hyspeed above orbit of the planet Athos. You can see the rear of the ship slowing down as it moves toward the planet's atmosphere, along with the glow of a nearby sun appear on the upper right corner of the page. XAMAELEON [from the ship]: I should be breaking atmosphere into the first planet momentarily. END OF ISSUE 7
