The Boo-Ya! #8: Page 23
Page 23, 5 Panels- Dr. Arxin's Laboratory, 5 floors beneath the Docking Bay, Mientahl
Panel 1: Cut to a shot of the Madam, standing in the middle between Staehlia (to the left, with the comm placed at chest level) and Nessa (to the right). She has the stern look of someone who's ready to get down to business. Her right hand is sliding down to waist level, touching the top of her energy sword.
THE MADAM [Cont.]: Long range sensors just spotted a couple of Clampherz coming this way. STAEHLIA [following along on her train thought]: Capaldi has them a half-horut out from our location...
Panel 2: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A few seconds later, we see Nessa quickly pull out her gun/sword, unleashing a hidden second barrel at the top of it and posing at that moment. Her periphery is split, along with the focus of the others, toward a sudden command emanating from Staehlia's comm just as she's about to place it back in her pocket.
CAPALDI [from the comm, to everyone in there]: Actually, Stahl...it might be considerably sooner than I said before. The Clampher ships have hit hyspeed and should be nearing the planet's atmosphere momentarily. NESSA [sighs, to Capaldi]: So...we're talkin' 10 minuyat then? CAPALDI [Bubble 2, to Nessa]: Approximately, so...yes.
Panel 3-5: A three-part set of panels that centers on Robin and Dr. Arxin over the course of a few moments. The first two panels are silent with Ms. Cartwright letting the information sink in. This is the first time that the wild weirdness of her life seems to have settled in with less earth shaking impact than before. In Panel 5, our human protagonist turns her head toward the good Doctor with one query in mind.
NESSA [Cont., Panel 3]: Right then. Let's swoop in the tech, the plan and get the flark out of dodge! THE MADAM [Off-Panel, to Dr. Arxin; Panel 3]: You still have that pocket PA with you? DR. ARXIN [nodding, to the Madam; Panel 3]: Oh yeah, it should be somewhere in... ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [to Dr. Arxin, Panel 5]: You were saying something about "bionic arms"?
