The Boo-Ya! #9: Pages 9-10

Page 9, 6 Panels- Command Center/Docking Bay, Mientahl/The Boo-Ya!

Panel 1-2: We move to a shot of both of our heroines a few moments later in mid-stride. In the first panel, you can see them dematerialize as a result of the transporter grabbing hold of them. Then within the blink of an eye, in Panel 2, the two of them reappear in the middle of the ship's command center as they stop the running from the first panel and the end of the previous page.

Panel 3: Cut to a shot of Staehlia standing in front of her communication station in the command center. She looks on, following as the Madam and Nessa move toward their respective areas, with curiosity and a slight degree of concern as she speaks.

STAEHLIA [to the Madam and Nessa]: What about Doctor Arxin and Ms. Cartwright?

Panel 4: Cut to the Madam a moment later, glancing over her shoulder in the direction of her Communications officer as she sits down on the comfy captain's chair. The handle of her now sheathed sword can be seen gripped in her right hand, ready to slip into a holder located on the side of the chair.

THE MADAM [to Staehlia, nonchalantly]: An'x'll be fine, Stahl, with that armor of hers. As for the human, I'm sure her new clip-on weapon would be able to keep her fleshy bits attached.

Panel 5-6: A two-part set of panels that moves back to the good Killeman seated in the pilot's chair, placing one of her hands on the steering wheel while the other one moves to start up the Boo-Ya!'s ignition process. In Panel 5, her focus is squared primarily on the steering wheel at first. Then in the next panel, Nessa turns up to the screen upon hearing a fairly loud screeching noise from outside.

NESSA [nodding in agreement, Panel 5]: Besides, we can pop over in an horut and scoop 'em out once the fireball and shockwave... NESSA [Cont., mouth agape; Panel 6]: dissipates!

Page 10, 5 Panels- Docking Bay/Command Center, Mientahl/The Boo-Ya!

Panel 1: We move to a 1/2-page sized shot from the perspective of the Command Center's view screen of the Moônghis, larger even than when we saw a few pages ago, emerging heroically from the hole with Dr. Arxin piloting it at the front. A ball of fire emerging from the creature's mouth up in the direction of the ceiling. You can see Robin, with one of her human arms wrapped around An'x's metal waist, waving and smiling in the direction of the screen.

Panel 2: Cut to a shot of Nessa looking up and shaking her head at the whole scene, chuckling. One of her hands is seen down on the console, triggering the ship's ignition sequence while the other grips the steering wheel. You can see part of the command center in the background along with the Madam's chair. You can also hear off-panel the sound of the ceiling being blown apart as a result of the fireball from the previous panel.

NESSA: Nice entrance...I almost forgot it can do that!

Panel 3: We move to a shot of the Madam at her chair a second later with a close-up view of the similar type of background we saw in Panel 2. There's a look of curiosity tinged with annoyance at the development. Her gaze is split simultaneously between the screen in front of her and Staehlia to the side of her at her station.

THE MADAM [to Staehlia]: Can we use the Hopper to get the human and the Doc onboard without the Moônghis?

Panel 4-5: A two-part set of panels that moves action over to the communication section of the Command Center as the ship starts to lift off the ground at that same moment. In Panel 4, Staehlia glances over in the direction of her captain to address her queries to start. Then, in the next panel, the Titanian tilts her gaze to the ceiling toward Capaldi for her own command.

STAEHLIA [logically, to the Madam; Panel 4]: Not at the current size of the creature, which would result in damage to the cargo bay from the wound and a massive increase in weight that would... THE MADAM [interjecting, Off-Panel; Panel 4]: Get us blown to bits by whatever explosion the bombas in the Clampher ships given us. Groovy! THE MADAM [Cont.; Panel 4, Bubble 2]: Unfortunately, time's not that bett'n kind to us right now. Spark it up! STAEHLIA [Panel 5]: Yes, cap'n. Capaldi, if you please. CAPALDI [from the ceiling, to Staehlia; Panel 5]: Targets fixin' in for a lock, Staehlia. STAEHLIA [Panel 5, Bubble 2]: And notify them of our predicament, please...so we do not die terrible deaths. CAPALDI [Panel 5, Bubble 2]: Yes ma'am...
