Page 3, 4 Panels- Hospital Lobby, Arlington Virginia

Panel 1-2: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. In Panel 1, we see her start to stand out of her chair and start to move right in the direction of thumping off-panel metal boots on the floor heading up to the room. After taking a handful of steps from the scene, in Panel 2, Tasha is stopped by the cry of another nurse from off-panel right. Her body tensing up into a fighting position.

DET. RANDOLPH [Cont. to herself, Panel 1]: Don't tell me the best chance I have to crack the Brennan case died. NURSE #2 [Off-Panel right, to Det. Randolph; Panel 2]: Ms. Randolph...telephone!

Panel 3: Cut to a shot of the Detective a minute later with the phone pressed up to her right ear, listening to the message with a strong poker face as the Mecha workers leave out of view. You can see the other workers around the desk area in the background returning to their own bits of business as this all goes on.

GREM [from the phone receiver, to Det. Randolph]: There weren't any calendars in the morgue. Is it December 28th? DET. RANDOLPH [confused, to Grem]: ...Yeah? GREM [Bubble 2]: Ah good. Apologies about the cryptic phone call, Tasha. I'm not dead. And the alarm's while I got my trousers and gear back on me. Fire alarm seemed the best bet. DET. RANDOLPH [Bubble 2]: Okay. But what the hell happened before, Grem? How did you--?

Panel 4: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. Her gaze is moved over toward the window at the end of the hallway as Mr. Allen speaks. Her face still showing the same type of poker face as Panel 3, hiding a degree of confusion over what's going on.

GREM [from the phone receiver]: That's a question for another time. Right now we've got about five minutes till they notice I'm not actually in my room right now and... DET. RANDOLPH [interjecting]: Right.

Page 4, 6 Panels- Hospital Lobby/Outside the Hospital Lobby, Arlington Virginia

Panel 1: Cut to an exterior shot of Gremlin in the driver's seat of the Emerald Isle, welcoming his friend to join him in the passenger seat of his ride. He's dressed in the same lime green surgeon's scrubs that the doctor was wearing back in the top of the chapter, flashing a million dollar grin as if nothing's wrong at the moment.

Panel 2-3: A two-part set of panels that moves to a frontal shot of the ship over the course of a minute. In Panel 2, we see the good Detective carefully walking along the edge of the wing, making sure not to fall off or to drop her notebook, which is gripped firmly in her left hand. In the next panel, she drops onto the seat; the notebook falling down with a trajectory that'll ensure it hits her lap.

GREM [to Det. Randolph, nonchalantly from his periphery; Panel 2]: So, what happened while I got KO'd the past 18 hours? DET. RANDOLPH [snarky, to Grem; Panel 2]: Besides the JBS clockworks who tried to kill us? GREM [Panel 2, Bubble 2]: Aye. That one explains itself. DET. RANDOLPH [explanatory, Panel 3]: Well...just like Tian said, we discovered Mr. Brennan's body.

Panel 4: We move to a shot of Grem's face as he presses down on the pedal and sets the ship forward from the location. You can see a patch of light blue breaking through the gray skies in the background as he speaks with a degree of interest. His peripheral focus similar to what we saw in Panel 3.

GREM [curious]: Where'd the boys in blue find the poor bastard? DET. RANDOLPH [Off-Panel]: In the Potomac...

Panel 5: Cut to a shot of the Detective a few seconds later. She looks down at her notebook, reciting the part where she had wrote about the findings. In the background behind her, you can see a little section of the sky along with the tops of a couple of buildings that can be seen near them.

DET. RANDOLPH [Cont., reading from the notebook]: He was found in relatively normal condition…save for his head that was chopped off.

Panel 6: We move to a similar side shot of the immortal Irishman. He looks over in the good Detective's direction, reacting with surprise at the command. Like the previous panel, you can see the tops of other buildings near him along with the sight of the horizon in the distance leading toward the Atlantic.

GREM: Huh! That's...new for ol' Sir Jonesy. DET. RANDOLPH [Off-Panel]: That isn't all...
