The Boo-Ya! #10: Pages 5-6

Page 5, 6 Panels- Park/Mar-Vell, Capitol/Kos

Panel 1: We open on a shot of a street corner somewhere in the Capitol. She's seen walking on the sidewalk, trying not to gawk too bluntly at the different aliens walking to and fro from them at that moment. Some of which mutter in hushed tones at the weird looking "black thing" and what it's about. You can see, to the far left of the panel view, a window with a 3-D display that's moving (though we don't see precisely what it looks like).

DR. ARXIN [narration caption]: "Prior to Nessa making landfall outside the Parliament building, we'd drop her off in the center of the Capitol's lux district half an horut away to explore and--"

Panel 2: Cut back to Staehlia seated at the far end of the table in Mar-Vell's. She leans a little forward, hovering above the plate of salad and grilled bread that's covered with what appears to be some kind of cheese. There's a look of confusion in her eyes, looking to clarify something that feels wrong in the plan thus far.

STAEHLIA [to Dr. Arxin]: Is that safe, sending her in without sufficient support against a population that have less than advanced views on beings from other worlds?

Panel 3: We shift to a shot of Robin on the other side of the table. She looks over in the direction of the Titanian genius, filling in the holes to the question as best as she could. She raises her right arm where the Arm-or is attached to, tapping on the top middle area of the screen as she speaks.

ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [to Staehlia]: That's why I have the Arm-or, and this little bad boy the Doc showed me in the mess.

Panel 4-6: A three-part set of panels that centers on the same setting and layout as the previous panel. In Panel 4, it consists of an action shot on our human heroine, staring at the tiny screen and tapping on its screen in order to create the necessary command. In the next panel, moments later, you can see Ms. Cartwright's face suddenly blur from view of the reader as if it were covered in white-out. Then, in Panel 6 a second later, she returns to view with a large smile.

ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [explanatory, to Staehlia and the others; Panel 4]: I call it CC Junior. Its real name is something I can barely pronounce without laughing. DR. ARXIN [to Robin, Off-Panel; Panel 4]: Cluuviclahzzx is the Trickster God in my culture. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [to Dr. Arxin; Panel 4, Bubble 2]: Still doesn't make it any less funny! ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont. distorted, Panel 5]: Anyway...the CC Jr. emits concentrated sound waves focused squarely on my face, making sure everyone around my general vicinity... ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., Panel 6]: Can't see me! ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [thought bubble, Panel 6]: Another cool feature teenage me would've killed to have...

Panel 1: We move back to a shot of Dr. Arxin in a similar setting and layout to what we saw at the end of Page 4. She's looking over in Robin's direction, holding the spoon just above the half-full bowl of soup, set to dive in just after speaking.

DR. ARXIN [to Robin and everyone else, eager to get on with the plan]: Are you done gloating about my shiny tech? Can I continue?...Thank you!

Pane 2-3: A two-part set of panels that center on the same setting and layout as the previous panel. In Panel 2, An'x drops her spoon in to the bowl, collecting a little of the food inside, taking a sip of it by the time we reach Panel 3. Her eyes are closed and she has a smile over her face in Panel 2, opening them up by the next panel.

DR. ARXIN [yummy sound connected to a thought bubble, Panel 2]: That's some glorious Chlg'his...! DR. ARXIN [back to her train of thought, Panel 3]: Where was I?...Ah, yes. Ms. Cartwright in the role of concealed tourist.

Panel 4: Cut to the interior of the same store that we briefly saw in the previous page. Robin is seen stepping through the doors, looking around at the crystalline sculptures that are hung on the ceiling. You can also see a few other sculptures and pieces of art that are placed on both sides of the panel view in ground level.

DR. ARXIN [narration caption]: Her face concealed by the "CC Junior" in a similar fashion to species like the Jel-Osaians who have no visible facial features, which will allow her to stay incognito and keep track of Nessa as she penetrates the Parliament's defensive grid.

Panel 5: We move to a rear shot of Ms. Cartwright a few minutes later, standing in front of another painting located at a different part of the Gallery. The piece in question appears to be a holographic representation of a human being, scary and almost demonic looking with surgical scars. It lumbers toward Ms. Cartwright, scarily moaning like a zombie.

ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [snarky]: Reminds me of a dudebro who hit on me! DR. ARXIN [narration caption]: If trouble may arise on Nessa's end during the operation and assistance is needed, she'd get a friendly little...
