The Boo-Ya! #10: Pages 19-20

Page 19, 5 Panels- MP Atom Aharons' Parliament Office/Cargo Bay, Capitol/the Boo-Ya!

Panel 1-2: Action shot in Panel 1 a few seconds later showing the back of the MP as he crosses "Mr. Xjliang" in the middle of the room on his way to the front entrance off in the distance, patting him on the shoulder as he goes. In Panel 2, after acknowledging his superior, he starts to shapeshift back into his Martian form (starting with the face) as Atom opens the door and starts to step out. His upper body also starts to expand in muscle mass while still in "Mr. Xjliang's" "suit."

MP AHARONS [to "Mr. Xjliang," Panel 1]: Of course, I don't have to tell you what to do if you happen to meet our suspects while I'm away. "MR. XJLIANG" [interjecting, to MP Aharons; Panel 1]: Bust their heads like fresh Whimatears. XAMAELEON [Cont., Panel 2]: I know all too well, sir! ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Off-Panel caption, Panel 2]: Butterflies...that's what I'm feeling right now.

Panel 3-5: A three-part set of panels that centers on Robin and the Doctor seated on a bench in the cargo bay, waiting for the doors to open up and for the plan's first point to begin. In Panel 3, we see our human heroine genuinely open up emotionally while An'x is examining a great deal of data that flashes in front of her helmet's screen. In Panel 4, Ms. Cartwright looks over and notices the scene thanks to an errant beep from the helmet area that started from the previous panel, which the Doctor acknowledges in the next panel. It's here that we start to hear the metal doors open up and a beam of light enter the area.

ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., Panel 3]: Really loud butterflies that keep telling me, "This is where your life ends." At least that's what the oddsmakers at Bovada have me at. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Panel 3, Bubble 2]: It's easy to feign confidence that it won't happen thanks to the Arm-or. But still...hard to shake that lingering fear that it bugs out and I plummet to my death. Maybe you can find a way, Doc, to stick my head in a jar to-- SOUND EFFECT [under Dr. Arxin's helmet, Panel 3]: BWEEP! ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [insulted, to Dr. Arxin; Panel 4]: Wh--What the hell, An'x?! DR. ARXIN [scoffs defensively, to Robin; Panel 4]: I was--multitasking as you humans call it, Robin. Listening to you and looking over some data for the mission... DR. ARXIN [Cont., Panel 5]: From what I heard, it sounded primarily like rambling designed to mask a fear of death. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [nods, less insulted; Panel 5]: Basically. Most times, I can contain the rambling in my head. I...I guess it's just the rush of everything I've dealt with lately rushing up to bite me in the arse. DR. ARXIN [Panel 5, Bubble 2]: A completely understandable emotion. Any thoughts to final words on your headstone, in case you're right? ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Panel 5, Bubble 2]: Yep. "Cheesy potatoes are the perfect food!"

Page 20, 6 Panels- Cargo Bay, the Boo-Ya!

Panel 1: Cut to a close-up of the good Doctor's face a few beats later as she stands up from the bench. Her eyes following the human's movements out to the jump zone. She tilts her head quizzically at the statement, particularly the third word in it. You can see the beam of light grow larger, covering the whole of her face and the top of her shoulders that is visible in the panel.

DR. ARXIN [confused, to Robin]: What are "cheesy potatoes"?

Panel 2: We move to a shot of Robin standing in the middle of the metal walkway, five steps from the edge. She's stopped moving, and turned her head over in An'x's direction with a sly grin and a look on her face someone has when you eagerly want to show off something to a friend. You can see a little sliver of the sky above off to the left of the panel view as she speaks.

ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [slight chuckle, to Dr. Arxin]: Bloody paradise. I'll show you the next time we're back on Earth.

Panel 3: Cut back to the good Doctor a moment later, showing her full body standing a few steps from the bench they were sitting at at the end of the previous page. Her arms are folded behind her back as she speaks.

DR. ARXIN [curious]: As a last goodbye for nearly surviving the maddening travails of space?

Panel 4: Back to our human heroine in a similar setting to what we saw in Panel 2. The layout has changed somewhat, zooming in on her face. She looks away momentarily in a pool of thought, though still addressing her with her statement.

ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [coyly non-committal]: Damn, I like that reason! But I'll hold off till after all this settles down, in case something better pops up... ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Bubble 2]: CC Jr. activate!

Panel 5-6: A two-part set of panels that starts once more on a full-body look of Ms. Cartwright, taken from outside of the Boo-Ya! looking in. Her face covered from the sight of the reader. In Panel 5, you can see her levitating off the ground as a result of the second command. In the next panel, it switches to Robin flying out of the ship (which shows up in the corner of the panel) as if she were Captain Marvel.

ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [putting on bravery, Panel 5]: Anti-grav on... ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [excitedly, Panel 6]: Wings on!... ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Panel 6, Bubble 2]: WOOOOO!!
