James Brighton Society, Chapter 5: Pages 21-22
Page 21, 4 Panels- Rooftop, Hart Senate Office Building, Washington D.C.
Panel 1: We move to a shot of Ms. Randolph looking down from the edge of the rooftop at the alley below. You can see her billy club resting on the edge next to her as she speaks. Tasha's eyes grow wider at what she's seeing at that moment.
DET. RANDOLPH [lower tone, to herself]: Shit... DET. RANDOLPH [louder, Bubble 2]: I'll be down there in a moment, Grem!
Panel 2-4: A three-part set of panels that starts out with a shot of the good Detective moments later. In Panel 2, she gathers up the folders of papers in both hands. Then, after three different attempts to click her boots in Panel 3 that got her to the rooftop in the first place, we see her lifted into the air in Panel 4 as a result of the powerful waves that shot out of the heels of the boots in the previous panel.

Panel 1-3: A three-part set of panels that focuses squarely on our hero's body in the middle of the alley; the dart that was in his body is seen underneath, broken by the impact of the cushioned airbag deployed from his coat. In Panel 1, we see the first signs of life coming back to Grem as he pushes back up as best as he can (with a bone sticking out of his left wrist). As the airbag returns and he gets to his feet, in Panel 2, the messenger bag tumbles into view, knocking Mr. Allen back into a seated position by the time we reach Panel 3.
GREM [groaning, Panel 2]: Damn... GREM [looking at the bone poking from his left arm, Panel 3]: That's what I get trying to stand up after a bone break, especially given whatever was in that bloody dart. DET. RANDOLPH [Off-Panel, Panel 3]: Grem!
Panel 4-5: A two-part set of panels that moves to an area five steps from Grem's immediate position as Tasha touches down on the ground, firmly holding each stack of folders as tightly as possible. The parachute immediately returning to the backpack in Panel 4 that was strapped behind her back at the same moment we hear what sounds like a bone returning to place. In Panel 5, she looks over at the immortal Irishman and notices something that shocks her to the core. You can also hear in the background of Panel 5 the sound of police sirens faintly in the distance.
DET. RANDOLPH [curious, to Grem; Panel 4]: Are you okay? What happened in Briggs office? DET. RANDOLPH [Cont.; Panel 4, Bubble 2]: As you can see, I've been pretty... DET. RANDOLPH [stunned, Panel 5]: ...busy. GREM [Off-Panel, Panel 5]: Yeah...
Panel 6: Cut to Grem in the same seated position we saw him back in Panel 3. His face is a little green as a result of the poison still swirling inside that his body is fighting. He looks at her with a degree of "Yeah, thought this would happen eventually..." on his face. You can see the deep wound in the middle of his arm is halfway to being fully healed. You can also see the messenger bag on the ground to his feet, which survived the drop as well.
GREM [half-grin, to Det. Randolph]: ...that makes two of us!
