The Boo-Ya! #11: Pages 7-8

Page 7, 4 Panels- Outside Parliament Building, Capitol

Panel 1: We open on an action shot of Robin clocking Xamaeleon in the side of his jaw. You can see his head violently jarring to the left, illuminated by the sight of white sparks that crackle just above the Martian mercenary's head.

SOUND EFFECT: DONNGKRACK!

Panel 2-4: A three-part set of panels that takes place moments later. Robin lands on her feet with a relatively hard "THUD!" in Panel 2 as Xamaeleon is sent skyward hundreds of Earth feet in the air. In the next panel, she wrings out her encased metal hand off, testing it for functionality (creating a brief spark), watching the Martian's body fly. In Panel 4, you can hear the body land with a "WABOOM!" off in the distance off-panel.

ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [to herself, pained; Panel 2]: Now I know what punching a Cyberman (or Juggernaut) feels like. ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., Panel 3]: At least it's not broken, though it'll be sore for a week. If I'm lucky... THE MADAM [from the earpiece, to Robin; Panel 3]: Yo Robin, what happened? How's Nessa? ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Panel 3, Bubble 2]: Freaky red dude's good and whomped. As for Nessa...she's still alive. NESSA [Off-Panel, bottom of Panel 4]: Ugarghh... ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [looking down toward the ground, to Madam; Panel 4]: Even though she kinda looks like warmed-over chutney! NESSA [Off-Panel 2, Panel 4]: HAHA...

Panel 1: Cut to Nessa a couple of feet in front of Robin, pushing herself back up to her feet. She glares over in the human's direction, letting out a mild chuckle at the comment. There's a look of defiance in her eyes, even amongst the pain and soreness that she's gone through. You can see in the background a little more of the foliage in the distance as well as more than a few skyscrapers piercing the sky.

NESSA [Cont. snarky, to Robin]: Still look better than you, meatbag!

Panel 2-3: A two-part set of panels that opens with Robin helping her Killeman comrade back up to her feet. In the next panel, the two of them are seen standing side-by-side, looking over in the direction where Xamaeleon had landed moments earlier. In both panels, you can see a little section of the Parliament building in the background.

ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [chuckles, to Nessa; Panel 2]: Much as I'd love to debate how wrong you are, you get a hold of the Spear? NESSA [scoffs, Panel 2]: Not before the bright red orivka slammed into me! ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Panel 2, Bubble 2]: Speaking of that... ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [Cont., into the earpiece; Panel 3]: Any of you guys see where he (or it?) landed? DR. ARXIN [from the earpiece, to Robin; Panel 3]: His name's Xamaeleon. He's a Martian...

Panel 4: Cut to the good Doctor seated onboard the ship's Command Center. She looks over the radar screen; namely, a red dot that permeates the upper right corner of the screen. You can see a pair of other dots located closer to the opposite side of the screen belonging to our two heroines.

DR. ARXIN [Cont.]: And roughly a few miles from your present location. Readings show he's still alive...

Panel 5: We cut to a shot from the sky looking down at the large crater in the ground that the Doctor had eluded to in the previous panel. You can see in the center of the black and brown area that permeates the panel view a dot that represents Xamaeleon. The edges of the panel have patches of green grass that survived the impact.

DR. ARXIN [Off-Panel]: If you get there before the sirtwinsechstin bolts. XAMAELEON [to himself]: Cmon, c'mon...where is it?...

Panel 6-7: Close-up on the Martian mercenary moments later, getting back up to his feet, woozy and sore as a result of the long draining battle. He's searching with some haste over his now normal sized body for some type of device. His hand just an inch below a bulge that can be seen around his left pectoral area. In the next panel, he lets out a relieved sigh, grabbing hold of it on both sides.

XAMAELEON [Cont., Panel 6]: I had it in my pocket before the pirate beyoch plowed into me. No flarking way it could've cracked up in all that fighting. It's made out of-- XAMAELEON [jovial, Panel 7]: Got it!
