The Boo-Ya! #11: Pages 13-14
Page 13, 4 Panels- Hallway, Business Consortium, Capitol
Panel 1: We move to a close-up of Atom's face a second later. His bloodied eyes looking up at the Madam, smiling as the blood trickles down his chin. You can see off-panel a red light flashing around his right arm as he speaks, along with the faint sound of footsteps rushing in from other areas.
MP AHARONS [Cont.]: All the same, I hope it was worth it because when I'm Prime Chancellor, you and the rest of your godless "profession" will be consigned to the blank nothingness of the Void.
Panel 2-3: A two-part set of panels that centers on the same type of action shot, albeit from two different points in the hallway. In Panel 2, we see a rush of armed guards barging in from the end of the hallway, armed with large guns, ready to confront the suspect at that moment. In Panel 3, we cut to the end of the hall closest where we see other soldiers similarly armored as those in the previous panel, armed with retractable energy batons and swords.
Panel 4: Cut to a wide shot of the Madam, standing between the two groups of soldiers that we saw in the previous pair of panels. She looks over both sides, sizing up the situation on the fly. The background is similar to what we saw earlier in the previous page, with the Boo-Ya! making a slight ascent out of view as her captain speaks. All the while, you can see the MP's shadow faintly running to the right away to safety away from the chaos.
STAEHLIA [from the earpiece]: I believe it is time to execute the option the Martian discussed before letting him go. THE MADAM [nodding, to Staehlia into the earpiece]: Yeah...you think it'll work?
Page 14, 6 Panels- Command Center/Hallway, The Boo-Ya!/Business Consortium, Capitol
Panel 1: We move to a shot of Staehlia back at the ship's command center, standing next to Dr. Arxin in the middle of its upper row. The two of them don't display any sense of apprehension or worry about the as-yet unspoken of plan. In the background, you can see some of the wallpaper and the electronic console of the immediate area.
STAEHLIA [confident, to the Madam]: I have a near total faith in its success, cap'n. THE MADAM [Off-Panel, to Staehlia]: And I don't trust that skeezo. Unfortunately...we don't have a choice, do we? DR. ARXIN [following on Staehlia's train of thought, trying to cheer Madam up]: It's pretty impossible to screw around with a Dom-Chas, Madam. Any competent merc knows how to run one. STAEHLIA [Bubble 2]: Which Xamaeleon is...probably.
Panel 2: Cut to Nessa at the pilot's chair a second later. Her eyes are focused squarely on the view screen as she steers the ship up from the danger area, though she's kept a decent lock on the conversation as it's gone on. In the background, you can see the rest of the command center area along with the shadows of Staehlia and Dr. Arxin to the right.
NESSA [agreeing with the others]: Besides, if it goes to shite or he tries to pull a double cross, we deep fry 'im along with old holier than thou Atom. Win-win!
Panel 3: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. The good Killeman's moment of confidence is shaken, along with the rest of the ship, when the command center is shaken by the sound of an explosion.
Panel 4: We move to a shot of Robin seated at the co-pilot's chair a few moments after the action of the previous panel. She looks down at the screen located at the front of her console, trying to figure out what just happened to them at the moment. You don't see what's on the screen though, just the sound of beeps emanating from the area.
THE MADAM [Off-Panel, from the speakers]: What the hell was that?! ROBIN CARTWRIGHT [scared]: Big torpedo. Probably from the Clampher coming right the hell at us. NESSA [Off-Panel, to Robin]: Clampher? Ah flarknalls, is the Dom-Chas still inta--?
Panel 5-6: A two-part set of panels that moves back to the Madam in the hallway, kicking butt as she does while listening to the commotion on her ship which has now gone to radio silence. In Panel 5, the Madam pauses from her bad assery after dispatching one of the soldiers with a slash of her energy sword. It's in that moment of concern, waiting for any other message to come from her ship in Panel 6, that she's taken down before she could respond by a repulsor blast coming in from the left of the panel view.
THE MADAM [Panel 5]: Hello...chiclas, you still there?!
