James Brighton Society, Chapter 6: Pages 17-18
Page 17, 5 Panels- Skies above Foggy Bottom, Washington D.C.
Panel 1-3: Cut to a shot of the skies a few moments after the end of the previous page where we see a SkyCruiser (larger and more armored than Grem's Emerald Isle) with the emblem of the James Brighton Society charging at the direction. In Panel 2, another Cruiser comes into view, followed by another one in Panel 3 (each with the same insignia) in a flying V formation toward the PTD off-panel.
SC1 [to the other 2 at their rear corners, Panel 1]: The PTD has been spotted. Initiate Arrest Protocol 25-Alpha SC2 [to SC1, Panel 2]: Roger that... SC3 [to SC1, Panel 3]: Roger that...!
Panel 4-5: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A set of guns emerge from the wings of the SC1, powering up before getting ready to open fire on the off-panel PTD. In Panel 5 though, as this went on, you can hear the sound of a "PING!" as if something magnetic latched to a block of metal.
SC1 [confused, Panel 5]: What the hell?

Panel 1-2: A two-part set of panels that encompasses the other two SkyCruisers reacting as the same mystery object with the same loud "PING!" as it hits the hull of their respective ships. You can see, as was the case with the first one at the end of the previous page, a rush of sparks billow from below.
SC2 [Panel 1]: Navigation's gone ice cold. Steering too... SC3 [Panel 2]: Gas and solar backup's DOA. Same with the comxxzz--
Panel 3: The layout widens to once more take in the other cruisers as, moments later, they appear to be drawn back to one another in the middle of the shot. The sparks and bolts of lightning become more prevalent on the hulls of each of the three SkyCruisers as they are being pulled. You can hear in a caption (manifested as a couple of measures of sheet music) Grem humming "Symphony in E," which began at the top of the page.
CAPT. LENNOX [from the lower part of the panel]: Aizzrmnn, whiree..?!
Panel 4-6: Cut to Grem in the pilot's chair of the Emerald Isle, humming a little more of the song (emerging in the same captioned form in Panels 4 and 5 that we saw in the previous panel). His gaze only partially pulled down toward the main console, looking at a display that is off-panel. In Panel 5, the Irishman looks up at the rear view and smiles as the shadow of the PTD starts to slowly come into view and an explosion is heard from the left of the panel view. In the next panel, with the PTD shadowing his personal dirigible, he turns to his right to greet the person coming toward the craft.
GREM [to Tasha, Panel 6]: Aww, your first run from the authorities...how was it? TASHA [Off-Panel, Panel 6]: A pain...in more ways than one!
