The Boo-Ya! #11: Pages 17-18

Page 17, 5 Panels- Warehouse, Capitol

Panel 1: We move to a full-body shot of the Madam moments later, feeling around her waist for her trusty sword in its holster. Her body illuminated by the lights off-panel above her. You can see partially, in the bottom of the panel view, chunks of the wood and arm rests that once made up the chair.

THE MADAM [to herself, angered/panicky]: Little sir-twinsechstin's got my blade...definitely makin' him pay for that!

Panel 2-3: A two-part set of panels that moves to the same setting and layout that we saw in the previous panel. In Panel 2, the Athosian looks down and notices a chair leg resting against her foot. A second later, in Panel 3, she flicks the piece of wood up with her foot like a soccer ball, settling on it as a substitute weapon.

Panel 4: Side shot of the good captain's face a couple of seconds later, looking over at the chair leg and chuckling with gleeful delight at the makeshift weapon. Her mind already flashing forward to the moment she and the MP meet once more.

THE MADAM [nods]: Oh...flark yes. I can make this work!

Panel 5: Action shot of the Madam, her back to the reader, running out of the area in the same general direction that Atom had walked toward earlier. You can see toward the side of the panel view the screens showing the countdown clock (4:00) and the live news broadcast as she's running.

Page 18, 5 Panels- Warehouse, Capitol

Panel 1-3: A three-part set of panels that follows one of our heroines as she moves through the warehouse with ever increasing speed, using the glow from the glass windows filtering light inside in increasing intensity by the time we reach Panel 3. It's also at this time in Panel 3 that we hear the sounds of fists and footsteps out in the distance to the left of the panel view. In each panel, on the bottom right, is a countdown clock moving toward zero.

Panel 4: Cut to a shot of the Athosian standing five steps away from the entrance moments later, listening at the sounds of fighting emanating from outside grow louder. A wide smile comes across her face listening to the audio cacophony from the battle, recognizing the voices as they billowed out.

THE MADAM [excited]: I knew it! Can't keep good queens down before the payday! CAPTION: 2:00 THE MADAM [Bubble 2, louder to the group outside]: Oi, save me a nutshot at least...

Panel 5: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. Her train of thought is interrupted suddenly by a loud explosion from the warehouse entrance. The Madam sticks out her left arm to try to absorb the force of the blast as well as any chunks of wood that were sprayed her way.
