James Brighton Society, Chapter 6: Pages 19-20
Page 19, 5 Panels- Skies above Foggy Bottom, Washington D.C.
Panel 1-3: A three-part set of panels that centers on a shot of Tasha as she moves slowly toward the backseat of the Isle, grimacing as she places the folders on the cushion of the backseat next to her, sitting down by the time we reach Panel 3. It all takes place over a handful of seconds with Mr. Allen glancing behind him ready to punch down on the gas again. You can see in the background of each panel a section of the sky behind them as they speak.
TASHA [Cont. to Grem, Panel 1]: I got most of the folders I stole from the Hart Building out beforehand. So...small victory. GREM [curious, to Tasha; Panel 1]: How much is "most?" TASHA [Panel 2]: Roughly a dozen I think out before the bullets flew. GREM [Panel 2, Bubble 2]: Any of 'em useful? TASHA [Panel 2, Bubble 2]: There was one that had a receipt for a donation from a Senator made to a mansion in Alexandria for some type of "safe room." TASHA [Cont., Panel 3]: Nothing illuminating to our case, but it does give us the address to JBS HQ we've been looking for. GREM [Panel 3]: Nice work! There should be some first aid stuff, if you need to switch wraps. TASHA [Panel 3, Bubble 2]: Thanks.
Panel 4: Cut to a close-up of Ms. Randolph a second later as she gets herself situated on the seat. Her eyes firmly looking on at the back of the immortal Irishman's head as she speaks. You can see the green-white upholstery of the backseat in the background behind her, along with the rush of the engines as the Emerald Isle starts on its flight path away again from the PTD.
TASHA [Cont.]: So, where are we going to next?
Panel 5: Back to a side shot of Grem at about the same time as the previous panel, looking out at the sky in front of him. His periphery gaze focuses downward toward the energy gauge for the ship which is leaning precariously close to empty. The background behind him starts to move quicker from right to left as the sounds of "Symphony in E" play from the off-panel speakers.
GREM [steady]: Back to the Cloak Room to give my old girl a charge, away from any gaze of your former bosses. I also mean to chat with an old friend who can help us.

Panel 1: Cut to a shot of Ms. Randolph, carefully leaning against the backseat of the Isle as the airship gathers more speed moments after the end of the previous page. The bulk of the weight shifting left in order to avoid harming the wound. She has a look of relief mixed with curiosity and slight disbelief as to how such a plan would happen.
TASHA [looking for details, to Grem]: That bar I saw a few days ago on the way to your place? No offense, Grem, but...how exactly will it be enough to keep us concealed from the police?
Panel 2: Back to the immortal Irishman at the driver's seat in a similar side shot setting and layout to what we saw in the last panel of the previous page. He smirks on the upstage part of his face at the question, already knowing the answer in his mind. The background of the sky and city behind him is quicker than we saw at that aforementioned panel.
GREM [calmly, to Tasha]: Besides the steady metronome that is human stupidity...a little bit of the Breathnú ar Shiúl.
Panel 3: Same setting/layout as Panel 1. Tasha tilts her head, still flashing the same level of curiosity as before, albeit with more confusion than we saw at that moment. The speed around her hitting a steady speed at that moment in time.
TASHA: breathna--what? GREM [Off-Panel]: breathnú ar shiúl...
Panel 4: Same setting/layout as Panel 2, along with the same ever changing background as the Isle settles onto a good speed on its way to its destination. His smile settles back into the same steady stoic look that Grem had at the end of the previous page.
GREM [Cont.]: It's Gaelic for "look away." A little nickname I gave for some concealment magic Dorian cooked up when the bar first started.
Panel 5-6: A two-part set of panels that cuts to a simple look of the Cloak Room and the icy, still somewhat snowy sidewalk and road in front of it. In Panel 5, it's framed in precisely the same way we saw it in Chapter 1 the first time it was introduced. And in Panel 6, we see the same setting as before, but the layout is such that it appears to be an ordinary movie theater.
GREM [Caption, Panel 5]: To any eyes that may look to harm those like me or you, such as the boys in blue or your standard racist arseholes, it masks its exterior facade to something... GREM [Caption, Panel 6]: Less suspicious.
