James Brighton Society, Chapter 10: Pages 1-2
Page 1, 1 Panel- Dungeon, Undisclosed Location
Panel 1: A full-page sized panel that incorporates the same setting and layout as the last page of the previous chapter. It takes place at almost the same time as that page, give or take a few seconds. Officer Reese, standing upstage in the panel view, moves a few steps closer toward Tasha as the mysterious shadowy Kalikantzaro comes toward them.
OFFICER REESE [curious, to Tasha]: You have any idea what in God's name that is? TASHA [glancing behind, to Officer Reese]: Besides ugly and squid-like? No damn clue! OFFICER REESE [Bubble 2]: What about that secret weapon of yours that Azeban gave you? Or your cane? TASHA [Bubble 2]: The former was broken in the fight. As for the latter...you think I can even hide it in this thing? OFFICER REESE [Bubble 3]: Point taken!

Panel 1: Action shot from the side of the Kalikantzaro, a physically imposing creature with gray-black scaly skin and a lion-like skull structure, leaping forward with a slash, which Ms. Randolph narrowly ducks out of, missing its claws by inches. You can also see Kyle duck out of view to the left of the panel; an instinctual move to duck out of danger.
Panel 2-3: A two-part set of panels that shifts focus to the good officer a moment later. In Panel 2, as a result of the movement, he has part of the chains keeping him there in his right hand. His eyes glancing down as he speaks. In the next panel, he looks back up toward Tasha, fueled by a rush of an idea.
OFFICER REESE [to Tasha, Panel 3]: The chains! Use the chains!
Panel 4: Back to Tasha looking over from another part of the room with a degree of consternation at the idea. Her arms are latched to both of the creature's arms, trying to keep it from stabbing her already tender and brusied flesh; the rest of the creature's chest somewhat visible to the right of the panel view.
TASHA [to Officer Reese]: I can barely lift my arms right now. What makes you think I can even--?
Panel 5-6: A two-part set of panels that moves back toward the good Officer in a shot that takes in the rest of his body. In Panel 5, he takes a few small steps forward toward his friend, elaborating on what he said before. In the next panel, his train of thought is halted by the shadow of the Kalikantzaro and its roar as it comes toward him.
OFFICER REESE [shaking his head, Panel 5]: No, get him to break the chains. Or chomp down on 'em or some-- OFFICER REESE [Panel 6]: SHIITT!
