Page 11, 5 Panels- Bathroom/Hallway, Myers' Apartment, Las Vegas NV

Panel 1-2: A two-part set of panels that follows on the same setting and layout as the second-to-last panel of the previous page. With the phone back on the edge of the sink, we see Tara get dressed in the clothes that were placed on the top of the closed toilet bowl, listening as the message plays on speakerphone in the background. In Panel 2, upon hearing the main message from Panel 1, he becomes steadily intrigued with the proposition; fully clothed save for the shirt with his energy bar at 98%.

CLAUDIA [from the phone speaker, Panel 1]: Hey Tara, this is Claudia at Clark County Sound. You applied for our vacant Lit Critic position last week. I came across your portfolio and I was quite impressed with what I saw. CLAUDIA [Cont., Panel 2]: I was wondering if you could come for an interview later today, or sometime later this week. Call me back at 702-391-8822. Have a good day, bye. TARA [excited once more, Panel 2]: YAAS!

Panel 3-4 Action shot of Mr. Myers grabbing the phone off the sink as he makes his way back out of the area by the time we get to Panel 4. In Panel 3, we see him pressing the button to call the number back and then, in Panel 4, he puts the phone back to his ear. In both panels, you can see the previous setting that was in place at the top of the page start to dissipate as he reaches the front door to the bathroom.

Panel 5: We cut to a shot of the hallway just in front of the bathroom moments later as Tara steps out of the 3/4 opened doorway. You can see part of the aforementioned bathroom in view in the background behind him. The sides of the panel's view contains the other sides of the hallway where we see normal home furnishings as well as framed photos of the family on the wall from when Tara was younger. His energy bar is at 97%.

TARA [into the phone]: H--Hi Claudia, this is Tara Myers. I'm calling back in regards to the message about the Lit Critic--- CLAUDIA [interjecting, from the receiver]: Oh yes, of course Tara!

Panel 1: Cut to a shot at facial level of CLAUDIA CREGG sitting on a chair in her study; her phone pressed to her ear, reading over her schedule on her MacBook. She's a handful of years older than Tara, with a glow of youthful energy in her eyes, wearing a smart looking blouse that is visible in the panel view.

CLAUDIA [Cont.]: How are you doing today? CLAUDIA [reacting to Panel 2, Bubble 1; Bubble 2]: Good! So, are you able to come for an interview sometime today?

Panel 2: We move to an action shot of Tara back in the hallway where we last left him at the end of the previous page; his energy bar still at 97%, which continues throughout the whole page. He listens intently on the phone, answering when appropriate with a deal of thought to each word behind him. You can see the somewhat opened bathroom door off in the right edge of the background, along with a closet door near the wall.

TARA [to Claudia, reacting to Panel 1, Bubble 1]: I'm good. TARA [reacting to Panel 1, Bubble 2; Bubble 2]: Well....I have to go to work at 10. But...I think I can spare a little time this afternoon, around like 2ish.

Panel 3: Same setting/layout as Panel 1, along with the same background. Claudia nods slightly in agreement to the request. As she speaks, following up on that train of thought, her eyes look down toward the schedule for any openings in that time slot.

CLAUDIA [curious]: Where do you work?

Panel 4: Same setting/layout as Panel 2, along with the same background. It follows only a split second after the action of that panel, which doesn't involve the same level thought to Mr. Myers that it did for him then.

TARA: Over at the EPB Bookstore on Jones St. I'm a cashier and stocker there.

Panel 5-6: A two-part set of panels that moves back to the same setting and layout as Panel 3. In Panel 5, Claudia smirks at the mention, remembering the last time she was there as she examines the schedule again. A few beats later, in Panel 6, she turns her focus back away from the computer and starts to stand up once again.

CLAUDIA [reminiscing, Panel 5]: Oh nice...I've been there before to get my nephews Christmas gifts. Cozy little place! CLAUDIA [Cont., Panel 6]: Let's see--I can do...2:15 P.M. You think you can make it then?

Panel 7-8: Back to Tara in the same setting and layout as Panel 4; at this point, he's near the end of the hallway going into the living room. In Panel 7, he nods in agreement to the statement from the previous panel, releasing a slight half smirk on the right side of his face. In the next panel, after turning the phone off, he is standing and starts to slip it back into his pocket.

TARA [Panel 7]: I can make that work... CLAUDIA [from the receiver, Panel 7]: Good! I'll see you at MadHouse Coffee at 2:15 P.M. today. You know where that is? TARA [Panel 7, Bubble 2]: I, um...hmmm. I think so, yeah...I can Google Map it though, just to be sure. CLAUDIA [Panel 7, Bubble 2]: Alright then. See you at 2:15 P.M. today, Tara. Bye! TARA [Panel 7, Bubble 3]: Bye...
