Page 13, 6 Panels- Hallway/Dining Room/Bookcase/Randall's Office, Myers' Apartment/EPB Bookstore, Las Vegas NV
Panel 1: Same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page, along with the same background. He looks up toward the ceiling with a slight smirk that pops up on his face in regards to the big opportunity that has fallen in his lap. His energy bar (which is visible over his left shoulder) is now at 98%.
TARA [thought bubble]: My first proper writing job...
Panel 2-3: A two-part set of panels that starts out inside the dining room with a brief shot of Tara eating breakfast in the dining room, the energy bar the same as the previous panel, lost in his own thoughts as Randall makes his way past the shot toward the staircase that will lead him to the bookstore on ground level. In Panel 3, we move to him working in the store's YA Fiction section placing new books that were donated the day before.
TARA [narration caption, Panel 2]: Don't know how much it pays, but still...awesome (even with my insides spinning around at Warp 6! CAPTION [Panel 3]: Four Hours (and Change) Later
Panel 4: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. He stops placing books on the top section of the bookracks in front of him, looking over to his watch to check on the time. You can see, by the glare of the eyes that appear from the side in the panel, the proverbial "Go Time!" regarding the interview.
TARA [thought bubble]: Almost...almost got the nerves together...GOT IT! TARA [to himself]: I'm ready (ready as I'll ever be anyway)...
Panel 5: Cut to the doorway of Randall's office a handful of seconds later. It's here where we see the young Mr. Myers look inside with his hands in his pockets; his body containing a sense of hopeful anxiety over the upcoming meeting. You can see a glow of light behind him in the background along with faint shapes of the bookcases in the distance.
TARA [to Randall]: Hey Dad, I'm heading out to the interview now.
Panel 6: We move to a shot of Randall at his desk a second later. He looks over in his son's direction and nods slightly in agreement to the statement while he's working on the documents placed in front of him. You can see the back of the computer on his desk to the right of the panel view.
RANDALL [to Tara, understanding]: Oh right, the Clark County thing...very good, best of luck. TARA [Off-Panel]: Thanks, Dad! Should be back about 3-3:30 in case you need more help at the register.

Panel 1: Same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page. Randall follows the path of his son's movements for a couple of steps, lifting up off the chair in order to stand up. You can see his right arm extended outward in order to signal Tara down for one last warning.
RANDALL [to Tara, cautious]: That's perfectly fine, son. Just make sure you have your phone by you, in case you get a panic attack.
Panel 2: Back to Tara in the same setting and layout as the second-to-last panel of the previous page. The lone difference between the two panels is the fact that the young man is standing more toward the right side of the doorway. He gives a quick nod to the suggestion, as if he'd heard it multiple times before.
TARA [to Randall]: Alright got it in my pocket, Dad...
Panel 3-4: Cut to a shot of Melanie in her car a short time earlier, looking for a parking space amongst the sea of cars that are visible partially from the driver's side window as she speaks. You can see the exasperation in her eyes as the action takes place over a handful of moments till she finally finds a spot by the time we reach Panel 4.
Panel 5-6: A two-part set of panels that starts out in the same setting and layout as the previous panel. Then, in Panel 6, we move to a shot of the space itself a couple of seconds later when the front end of her Toyota slams into the back of the Jeep that's parked over to the right of the panel view.
MELANIE [from the hood of the car, Panel 6]: VOT FUCKING DAMMIT!!
