Jones St., Chapter 4: Pages 3-4
Page 3, 6 Panels- MadHouse Coffee, W. Desert Inn Road, Las Vegas NV
Panel 1-2: A two-part set of panels that starts out in the same setting and layout as the last panel of the previous page, albeit moments later from that particular point. He looks up at the menu above him in Panel 1 as the sound of Rachel Platten plays on from the speakers off-panel. In Panel 2, a split second later, Tara looks back down after being signaled by the cry of the Barista off-panel. In both panels, you can see his energy bar stabilize around 75%.
BARISTA [to Tara, Panel 2]: Hello, what can I get you? TARA [nodding, to the Barista; Panel 2]: Yes, I'll...I'll have an Iced Chai Latte, 24 ounces, with a shot of soy.
Panel 3: We move to a shot of the Barista, a 20-year-old white woman with the same haircut (and overall physique) as Kitty Pryde. She's seen standing on the other side of the counter, taking the order down on a pad and paper. In the background there is the coffee maker along with a few other appliances used for making food.
BARISTA: Anything else?
Panel 4: Back to Tara in the same setting and layout as Panel 2, along with the same ever changing background with someone just popping into view on the left side. He glances back up toward the handwritten menu for one last look, shaking his head in regards to the other options in play.
TARA [pleasant]: Naw, that's good.
Panel 5: Back to the Barista in the same setting and layout as Panel 3. She looks up from the pad to Tara after finishing writing the order down, putting on her best customer service face that she's put on for hundreds of other customers on a weekly basis.
BARISTA: Okay. It'll just be a few minutes, Mister...
Panel 6: Back to Tara in the same setting and layout as Panel 4, a split second after the action of the previous panel. His gaze is back down toward the Barista's general direction in order to answer her properly.
TARA: Tara. Tara Myers.

Panel 1: The Barista looks on with a momentary flash of disbelief in regards to the name; the background behind her is the same as what we saw in Panel 5 of the previous page. You can see her smirk and let out a tiny chuckle that is quickly swallowed up in order to not offend the customer.
BARISTA: 'Kay...it'll be ready in a few, Mr. Myers. BARISTA [thought bubble]: Poor dude!
Panel 2: Back to Tara a few moments later as the Barista goes about fixing the drink. He looks around, unfazed seemingly by the disrespect that the worker had showed at that point. You can see in the background some of the people that were seated in the previous page start to stand up from their table, finishing their drink/meal.
TARA [narration caption]: That is not the worse thing I deal with thanks to the "unconventional" name. Not by a long shot!
Panel 3-4: A two-part set of panels that moves to the same type of blank nebulous area that served as the example area from a couple of pages ago. In the center shot of each shot, you can see a whiteboard which fills with reasons as he speaks them; the ones in Panel 3 occupying the middle (first sentence) and lower part of the board (second sentence) and the one in Panel 4 occupying the very top (first sentence).
TARA [Cont. narration caption, Panel 3]: That goes to the people who ask if I was born a woman and had a sex change. Honorable mention- people who go "TARA-RA BOOM-DE-YAY!" whenever I tell them my name, thinking they're funny--pendejos. TARA [narration caption, Panel 4]: Also, the guy who ask me if my mother was a housemaid- Él fue un culero! Even with all of that annoyance, I never felt ashamed by Tara 'cause it's inspired by my parents. Some may think it's weird, but to me-- BARISTA [caption 2, Panel 4]: Tara? TARA [narration caption 2, Panel 4]: --it fits!
Panel 5: Cut to a shot of the Barista back at MadHouse, standing in front of the cash register. You can see the finished Iced Chai Latte with Soy placed on the counter right next to it, along with Tara's shadow that happens to be cast over the area a second before he's set to pay. You can also see part of the food making equipment in the background behind her as she speaks.
BARISTA [Cont., to Tara]: That'll be $7.25...
