Panel 1: We cut to the hallway adjacent to the Break Room a few beats later. The two friends are walking side-by-side back out to the sales floor, preparing to resume the flow of work while taking care of the last bit of their chat.
JAYSON [looking on the bright side, to Melanie]: At least you got 4 more hours to think up something. MELANIE [scoffs, to Jayson]: Or wing it and hope it doesn't end catastrophically... JAYSON [Bubble 2]: Not that dissimilar from "old school" dating.
Panel 2: Cut to Melanie minutes later walking in front of a displays of TVs that are visible in the background, along with a collection of logos of different TV makers like Samsung and Sony that hang above the walls. To the left of the panel view, you can see a white E-Mail box with the "To" section filled with Tara's online username and the Subject section at "Hey!" while the body of the E-Mail is empty.
Panel 3: We shift to a shot of her at work talking with a couple of customers around the PS4 section of the Video Games area of the store. One of them is a man in his late 30s while the other is a 14 years old girl, dressed in a jacket with a Her Universe tanktop with Princess Leia printed on it. As for the E-Mail to the left of the panel view, it starts to take shape.
E-MAIL BODY: Hi there Tara, I got the matching thing that
Panel 4-5: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. It's a similar type of action shot display in Panel 4 with Ms. Haynes showing the young girl a copy of Kingdom Hearts 2.5 to her own delight. In Panel 5, the conversation continues with the two of them as they discuss another game. As has been the case for the bulk of the page, we don't hear precisely what was said between them; you can also see the same box in upper left window of each panel's view.
E-MAIL BODY [Panel 4]: Hi there, E-MAIL BODY [Panel 5]: Hi there, thanks for the matching. I was checking out your profile and there was something that

Panel 1: Cut to later on in the day with Melanie standing at one of the store's cash registers. She's talking with a fellow co-worker who already has her coat on, seemingly clocking out and ready to leave back home. All the while, as was the case in the previous page, the window box showing the still to be composed E-Mail.
E-MAIL BODY: Hi there, thanks for the matching. I was checking out your profile and
Panel 2-3: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A few minutes later, we see the young woman take charge of the area in Panel 2, tending to a customer's purchases (a brand-new Macbook and a Nintendo 3DS console on top of it). You can see part of the person themselves to the right of the panel view waiting. In Panel 3, Melanie asks him how they'll pay while the person reaches into their wallet.
E-MAIL BODY [Panel 2]: Hi there, I was checking out your profile and I thought you were pretty cool. There was something on the page though that I thought was a little weird. E-MAIL BODY [Panel 3]: Hi there, thanks for the matching. I was checking out your profile and I thought you were pretty cool. There was something y TARA [Off-Panel caption, Panel 3]: It'll be a little tough...
Panel 4: Cut to a shot of Tara seated at one of the tables at the Marquis minutes after we left him earlier in the Chapter. You can see a plate of 1/4-eaten Fettuchini Alfredo in the bottom of the panel view, along with the fork and knife placed on both sides of it, as he speaks.
TARA [Cont. confident, to Granny Olivia]: But I don't think it'll be overwhelming, juggling the bookstore and the Clark County Sound. I remember my mama and some of the album reviews she did when she was younger.
Panel 5: We move to a shot of Olivia at another part of the table a moment later. She nods in agreement to the sentiment, though still displays a level of concern for her grandson. In the background, you can see a handful of other tables located nearby as well as the requisite wait staff walking to and fro.
OLIVIA [to Tara]: Yeah, but Tanya also had to deal with a lot of things for papers like deadlines, comments from editors, angry commenters, writers angry that you unfairly criticized their work. All of that can be really overwhelming, especially for someone with your...unique mind.
Panel 6: Back to Tara in the same setting and layout as Panel 4. He has the fork gripped in his right hand, moving down to scoop up a little part of the pasta dish located near the bottom of the plate.
OLIVIA [Cont., Off-Panel]: In short, I just want you to make sure that you are fully prepared for what the job will require of you, much more than what you get at the Bookstore. TARA [nods reassuringly]: I understand, abuela. I'll make sure it doesn't get that out of control, or try to at least. OLIVIA [Off-Panel, Bubble 2]: I know you will, mi niño...
