Panel 1: Cut to a shot of the phone screen a couple of seconds later. It shows a text message from Claudia that shows, "Just got you set up. The book should be at your door tomorrow."
Panel 2-3: A two-part set of panels that moves back to a shot of Tara in mid-stride as they approach the car. In Panel 2, he gives out a subtle grin in response to the news. A second later, in Panel 3, he turns his gaze over to the left in order to answer the question from his dad that comes from that off-panel left area.
RANDALL [Off-Panel, to Tara; Panel 3]: Who's the text from? TARA [nonchalantly to Randall, putting the phone in his pocket; Panel 3]: My new editor, said the book I'm reviewing first will be sent out to me tomorrow.
Panel 4: Cut to a shot of the elder Mr. Myers opening up the front door to his Kia, looking over in the direction of his son at the other side of the car. You can see the back of the car parked next to them, a silver Jeep Cherokee, in the background.
RANDALL [curious]: Very good. What book is it?
Panel 5: Cut to the other side of the car with Tara glancing over in his dad's direction. His right hand off-panel, touching the car's doorknob a second before actually opening it up. You can see the back of the car on the other space next to the Kia, a light blue Toyota Camry, in the background.
TARA: The Freemason's Daughter by Shelley Sackier.

Panel 1-4: A four-part set of panels that takes place from the outside of the car looking in as the two of them step inside the car, getting themselves situated, and buckling in as they talk. In Panel 4, Randall puts the key in the ignition to start it up, signifying the end of the scene. You can see, in the bottom of each of the four panels, the hood of the car along with the windshield wipers underneath both of them.
RANDALL [a little surprised, to Tara; Panel 1, Bubble 2]: What's that about? TARA [calmly explanatory, to Randall; Panel 1]: It's a YA romance set in Scotland, about this Scottish clanswoman who falls in love with a British duke. RANDALL [Panel 1, Bubble 2]: Interesting...I thought you were more of a sci-fi fan. TARA [retort; Panel 1, Bubble 2]: I am, but I did one last week. And I thought it sounded cool. TARA [Cont., Panel 2]: Besides, I like romance fiction too. Anything that bills itself as a "Outlander for the YA audience" has to be good...or a funny trainwreck. RANDALL [partial agreement, Panel 2]: Hmm... RANDALL [Cont., Panel 3]: On a separate note, does this all mean you're ready to start dating again? TARA [suddenly shy, Panel 3]: I--I just think it'd be a cool story, that's all. I'm a romatic... RANDALL [Panel 3, Bubble 2]: I know. I mean, you think you're ready to ask a woman out on a date? TARA [more shy, Panel 4]: Well, ummm... RANDALL [Panel 4]: It's okay if you don't want to talk about it now. But if you do and want to talk about it, you know I'm always here...
