Jones St., Chapter 6: Pages 7-8
Page 7, 6 Panels- Tate's, Jones St., Las Vegas NV
Panel 1: Cut to a shot of Melanie seated at the bar, holding a half-full glass of scotch in her left hand. She looks around in a noticeable degree of boredom, waiting for her friend to arrive. Off-panel in the top right corner of the panel view, you can hear the sound of music playing that happens to be filling the rest of the area.
Panel 2-4: Meanwhile, at the front entrance, we see Tara walking up to the door. Just as he's about to walk inside though, he freezes for a period that lasts through Panels 3 and 4. You can see, in both of those panels, other people walking around the young man frozen in anxiety and inside. All the while, the music plays on from the interior of the restaurant.
Panel 5: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. It consists of an action shot, showing Mr. Myers finally walking through the door inside the area; his head twitches slightly in regards to the sudden noise of the music. You can see a little section of the lobby wall, along with some framed art of indiscriminate work and design, in the background.
TARA [grunts]: Ugghhh...
Panel 6: Same setting as the previous panel. The layout changing slightly into a side shot with Tara standing in the middle of the lobby a handful of steps away from the off-panel host. You can see a little bit of the hallway leading to the bathroom area behind him in the background.
HOST [Off-Panel right, to Tara]: Hi there...just you today? TARA [to the Host, correcting]: No. Actually, I'm, uh...I'm here to see a...a friend of mine.

Panel 1-2: Cut to a more front looking shot of Tara a second later in the same lobby setting as the last panel of the previous page. In Panel 1, his train of thought continues on before getting interrupted as he tries to come up with the next words to say. In Panel 2, it continues on moments later with the same tempo as before.
TARA [Cont. to the Host, Panel 1]: Her name is Melanie Haynes, and...I'm not sure if she's at a table or... TARA [Panel 2]: I can show you a profile pic if you need to--
Panel 3: Cut to a shot of the Host standing in front of the podium a handful of steps away from Tara. A woman in her 30s with short dark hair, dressed in the customary business casual uniform that other employees there wear as well. She extends her right arm out, pointing in the direction of where she happens to be speaking.
HOST [to Tara, interjecting]: She is over in the bar right now. Right this way... TARA [Off-Panel]: Th--Thank you!
Panel 4: We move to a shot of the bar itself from Mr. Myers' perspective, ten feet away from the lobby at this point. You can see a few people seated there drinking, the bartender cleaning glass, and a TV playing a baseball game.
Panel 5-7: A three-part set of panels that cuts back to a close-up of Tara's face in the same setting and layout as the top of the page. In Panel 5, he nods and gives a slight grin at the statement, acknowledging the statement. As he follows the direction she points toward, in Panel 6, you can see a helmet descend from the top of the panel view toward his head and then fitting over it by Panel 7. Also in Panel 7, we see a metaphysical red and black suit of armor placed over where his shirt and vest were.
CAPTION [upper right corner of the panel view, with an arrow pointing to the helmet; Panel 7]: The Ben Grimm- "A good bit of strength, for moments when you aren't."
CAPTION [center right corner of the panel view, with an arrow pointing to the armor; Panel 7]: The Murdock- "Solid and steady, even when you aren't inside."
