Golden Gate Comic Con, Chapter 2: Pages 19-20
PAGE 19
EXT. CAR PARK- Over the Course of a Few Moments PANEL 1-2: A two-part set of panels that cuts back to an exterior shot of the same car as it moves down the road from right to left in each panel's view; the speed of which increases at the same moment.
INT. HERMES CAR- Continuous
PANEL 3: Back to Adam in the same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page. He looks around in his position, almost expecting something a little more than he's getting at that point in time.
ADAM [to Hermes, slightly apprehensive]: I don't mean to be jerky here, but, um...do you have a flight mode for this particular ride? Or do I have to-- HERMES [Off-Panel, interjecting]: Flight mode on!
PANEL 4: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. As soon as the words come out of the young man's mouth, the automated car revvs up once more and tilts upward in a flight trajectory.
ADAM [excited/scared yell]: AHHHHHHHH!!!!!
PANEL 5: Cut to a rear shot of the car firmly over ten feet off the ground from the same road they were on; a thin dark blue energy emanating from the tail pipes. At the same moment, you can see each of the car's four wheels start to retract into little covered areas for the trip.
ADAM [Cont., emanating from the top of the car]: So...Cool...So...Terrifying!!

EXT. 1456 WOODBURY AVENUE, SAN MATEO CA- Half Hour Later
PANEL 1: We move to an exterior shot of Amanda's modest looking 1-story house on Woodbury Avenue. The front yard consists of an Astroturf-y type of grass field that's placed on both sides (one in front of a window, and the other near the driveway where a tree is located). You can see, at the same moment, Adam's Hermes' car making its descent onto the curb after its long journey.

INT. CAR- Continuous
PANEL 2: Cut to a shot of Adam moments later when the car has achieved full landing; the setting and layout similar to what we saw in Panel 4 of the previous page. The joy that was noticeable in that scene has been replaced with an queasy queasiness as a result of the journey.
HERMES [Off-Panel]: Destination achieved... ADAM [wiping off a patch of puke from his mouth]: Ohhmergg...shoulda guessed that would happen.
PANEL 3: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A few seconds later, after regaining some semblance of balance in his stomach, the young Mr. de Connick turns his attention toward the console. You can see an apologetic look on his face as he speaks.
ADAM [Cont., to Hermes]: Sorry about that! HERMES [Off-Panel]: A common occurrence for first time travelers. Nothing that won't be cleaned up and disposed in the appropriate fashion. ADAM [Bubble 2]: Huh, cool...more than I needed to know. But cool. HERMES [Off-Panel, Bubble 2]: 13 Pats, please...
EXT. 1456 WOODBURY AVENUE, SAN MATEO CA- Minutes Later
PANEL 4-5: A two-part set of panels that moves to the same exterior shot as the top of the page, albeit flipped around in such a way that the car leaves (Panel 4) and we see the other side of the street (Panel 5) in the background. Adam, in both panels, is looking out at the house in a sort of panicked nervousness over what'll happen next; his luggage assembled on both sides of him.
ADAM [thought bubble, Panel 4]: Okay, the big moment's here. I'm either about to see my sister for the first time in 20 years...or get tossed into a jail cell. ADAM [Cont. thought bubble, Panel 5]: Maybe it'll just end up like Back to the Future II where I get a head injury and see my face in little kid--okay, nevermind that part.
PANEL 6: Action shot showing Adam from the rear as he finally takes the first few steps toward his older sister's house, which is visible in the background of the panel view. You can see the shadows of someone in the window area, laughing and conversing (though we don't know about what).
ADAM [Off-Panel caption]: "How did Needles not get fired?"
