Golden Gate Comic Con, Chapter 2: Pages 23-24
PAGE 23
PANEL 1: Action shot of Dad Owen sitting on the couch a few moments later, looking at Adam; the popcorn bowl that he held prominently placed on the coffee table which is in the bottom of the panel view.
OWEN [calmly explanatory, to Adam]: Janice is down in Loyola filming the USF softball game, and Rich's still dealing with that nasty flu. But he's seen it before, so it should be fine...
PANEL 2: Same setting/layout as the previous panel, along with the same background. Just as he's getting himself situated on the light brown colored leather couch, his gaze is pulled by the sight of the little kitten barging over in the direction of the bowl.
OWEN [to Jesse Quick, picking her up]: Jesse, noo-hoo! Away from the popcorn bowl...
PANEL 3: Slight close-up and tilting on Mr. de Connick a few moments later, placing the cat back on the ground; his eyes tilted upward and back over to Adam's direction to finish the last of his thought.
OWEN[Cont., to Adam]: Once you get the DVD in, give her her lunch. 1/2 cup, alright?
PANEL 4-5: Cut to young Adam near the TV, looking back at Dad while placing the DVD in the insert slot of the player with his free left hand. You can see the opened box for the third Back to the Future movie on the ground next to him. In Panel 5, the conversation is momentarily halted by the sound of the phone ringing.
ADAM [quick nod, Panel 5]: Alright, Dad... OWEN [Off-Panel, Panel 5]: I'll get it!

PANEL 1-3: A three-part set of panels that, at first, follows Owen as he makes his way to the front door; the living room and the kids looking on in the background of Panel 1. Though in the other two panels, he slowly fades from view into the kitchen area along with the architecture/2003-specific framed photos that were on the wall. It's in Panel 3, as this goes on, that we see 50 year old Amanda crossing from off-panel left toward the door.
LEXY [from the roof, Panel 3]: Someone is at the door, someone is at the door! AMANDA [to Lexy, Panel 3]: I'm coming, I'm coming...
PANEL 4: Cut to a close-up of her exasperated face making her way to the door those last few steps to the door, finishing the rest of the thought. You can see a section of the walkway behind her in the background, including an ovular shaped lighting fixture hanging from the wall.
AMANDA [Cont., with a grumble]: This better not be another parishoner of the Church of the Holy Gipper. Those pale-ass blancos creep me out! LEXY [interjecting, Off-Panel]: No, this is not someone from the Church of the Holy Gipper. Or any of the current city's databases. AMANDA [Bubble 2]: That's a relief at least. Tell whoever's out there, Lexy, that I've got a laser gun and 5 years of ju-jitusu if you're thinking of any funny...
PANEL 5-6: A two-part set of panels that focus on the same setting and layout as the previous panel. She's stopped in Panel 5, both in movement and thought, looking over at the glow of a TV screen that appears to be in the door area which illuminates her face. In Panel 6, Amanda looks on with great astonishment at who's there.
AMANDA [Cont., Panel 5]: ...business? ADAM [Off-Panel, from the screen's speaker; Panel 6]: If this is who I think it is...this is gonna be a lot. Mainly 'cause--it is a lot.
